Cop Killer murdered in PG County Detention Center
The death of the Laurel man in custody on charges of killing a Prince George's County police officer was ruled a homicide Monday by the Maryland Medical Examiner's Office.
Ronnie Lionel White, 19, of North Laurel, who was being held at the Prince George's County Correctional Center on charges of the June 27 murder of Cpl. Richard Findley, was found unresponsive about 10:30 a.m. Sunday in his cell. A high-profile inmate, White was being kept in a cell alone and had not had any visitors, Prince George’s County Department of Corrections Spokeswoman Vicki Duncan said.
