I am very disappointed to hear all this negative response about katour line wigs. I have been debating whether or not I should purchase a wig. One because they are quit expensive for my budget. Two because I was not happy with their return policy. But,I too have seen them advertisedm in several magazines. I have read in several magazines and celeberity websites the alot of famous people use them and are happy with them. About a week ago, I finally decided to order the Apple wig,with no "extras". I requested expressed delivery for a upcoming event. No, wig within 4dyz, No contact from katour. I reviewed my emails and it read that "I" had made a mistake in the ordering process. To my disbelief,I attempted to reorder.
The second, I call Katour to confirm the order,due to the fact I recievedm a confirmation order email with a number,(just like the first order), the rep explained it was on backorder for two weeks. Hmn,thanks for contacting me,NOT! I am sorry for those that recieve their dissappointing wigs, But thank you for the WARNING. |

I ordered one of there wigs, and I have to agree with the bad experience senario. It took three weeks to receive my wig. I was very dissapointed, the wig was nothing like what I ordered. I also ordered the wig accessories , which is on back order. I finally reached customer service to get a return order confermation number. I think I have amde a very big mistake. Being a victim of hair loss I thfought I had finally found a solution to my problem. Something needs to be done. I don't think this company is on the up and up. I just hope the exchange is better than what I originally ordered. Oh I forgot to mention when I looked at my bank statement. There was a phone number with a 301 area code. That really seems strange to me

Thank you ladies...I won't be ordering anything from Katour Line Wigs....that's a damn shame you have to go through mess like that...too much bad stuff and very little good stuff!!!

Good for those few who had good experiences compare to the 95% of us who did not. BUYER BEWARE!! Too much money for these wigs and the pictures is very misleading. Maybe, the next experience would be better, but who has 100.00 to blow.

Let me just be real, I posted earlier 10/07. Against my better judgement, I did in fact order from Katour. The wig arrived in the stated time frame,which was a little long for me. However they said they have to make the wig when ordered. Mine was not a custom but it took a month to arrive. Any how, it appeared much longer than what the model was wearing. However as long as I waited and the money I spent, I was going to make something happen! I cut it myself according to my facial shape. I would advise going to a beautician to cut it, but I didn't want to spend more time waiting for an appointment. Aftermath: it was beautiful, not one of my clients or friends or staff knew it was a wig. I styled it just as if it were my own hair. I have no problem with it. My only complaint is I feel it should have came just the way I saw it on the model. I should not have to have made any adjustments. Luckily it worked out. The wig I received does not look cheap at all and you certainly don't know it is not my hair. It was worth the price I paid but if you can find the same cheaper, go for it. |

Does anyone know of anymore reliable sites for
ethnic wigs? Katour have so many bad reports and l have gotten burn so many times and l can't afford to loose anymore money. The wigs on katour site look so natural and cute styles. I don't want to give my money to Koreans anymore. I want to support my own people. But not get burn. may 2008 |

I agree with you totally. I find myself going to the local beauty supply store for my wigs because they are cheaper. Especially yours is an option, but the wigs look like they are geared towards older women. I am not trying to bash this sister but I want what I paid for.

If I am not mistaken, isn't the topic of this page about hairloss from a bad relaxer? It's sad to see people using this page to post negative comments rather then stick with the topic. I am suffering from hairloss due to a relaxer and I can totally relate the topic. It is the most horrible experiance for a woman to go through. I am a proud owner of several Katour Line Wigs and they have been an life altering lift for my self esteem during my hairloss. If you have any complaints, contact the company. Let people use this forum to discuss the topic given. Thanks Ms. Williams for an awesome product!!! Brush the haters off.

Ladies--all this chatter is confusing. I was/am planning to purchase a Katour Line wig. I think I will continue to do more research. I too thought I had found the answer to my issue (eliminating weekly trips to the beautician) yet still getting hair-style versatility when I came across Katour Line wigs. I decided to try the wig at this time because I have an upcoming event. Not so sure of my decision and if I do place the order will it arrive in time for my event. Just perplexed.

I have been a customer of Katour Line Wigs since 2000. It is sad to see people use this forum to bash this company in such manner. I am a dedicated customer that has had an excellent experience with Katour Line Wigs (product) and the staff is warm, friendly and professional. This company has been around for a long time and I am sure that if the wigs where not good they would not be worn by so many celebrities. For the people that are reading the negative comments, try the company for your self. The small amount of bad comments on this forum does not equate to the enormous amount of satisfied customers of Katour Line Wigs. Katour Line Designer Wig Collection owner and staff, keep up the good work!

You can't always say they are bashing them just because you have a good experience. My cousin bought two wigs from them. The first one was to small but it was a nice cut. The second one was very nice and I fit perfect but she had to exchange it and had a hard time doing just that. I have to say after that she never ordered from them again. She found someone to make her wigs for her. She didn't like the idea of not being able to go into a store and try the wigs on. They would make a lot more money and their customers would come back. They need to hire people that care about their customer.
