for years my family has had to deal with our neighbors two very loud pitbulls, esp in the very early mornings, hearing one of them bark for hours and hours, now i have two jack russells, we have a dog door and of course when they hear the dogs next door they go out and bark, now that my neighbor lost his job, he does not want to hear it, i heard him threaten to kill my dogs the other day, now both are ill, have to take them to the vet asap..i think he poisoned them, but no way to prove it!!
dogs bark, ducks quack, lions roar! I dealt with loud dogs next door for years, and now he's threatning my babies? no way! anyone have any advice..btw, i think my neighbor has a few screws out of place up there! |

Sorry that is never understandable! I don't poison my neighbor’s kids that don't know how to talk, and all they do is scream all the time! The problem here is that people think just because they are not human that animals are disposable, they are still living breathing creatures that disserve respect, kindness, and love! We don’t own and rule Earth and all its creatures, we don’t and shouldn’t have more rights than any other species! That guy should be put away for life, since he took a life!!!!!! |
||||
So......What about all those cows and pigs and chickens and fish and other yummy things we cut up, cook and enjoy? What about their rights? Are you a strict vegan?, yeah, I didn't think so....(Neither am I....I love animals, they taste delicious). Before spouting off idiocy like you did, think about it for a second...... Get a grip, its a dog..... |
||||
its funny how the people who really foam at the mouth over trampled "animal rights" always seem to really despise other people, huh?(especially if those other people are different and/or less better off than they are). Had dog a couple of times in Korea.....it was delicious, especially with a little kimchi. |

The problem is, if this dog was outside 24/7 and was a chronic barker sometimes the owners don't care whether or not it's bothering you and some cities have what amounts to almost NO reliable action you can take legally to stop it.
In my town the police won't answer barking dog calls, animal control don't deal with it, code complience will send them a letter about the complaint and you a petition to have 3 other neighbors sign (good luck with that) or you can record the barking for 5 days and log it and "MAYBE" the county attorney office will wave the 4 signatures and handle it (I'm sure they'll jump right on that). A person can only take so much before they break and have had enough and it's way worse when you can get what amounts to NO help from your city about it. I'm not saying this is what happened in this case, but there's always 2 sides to every story and if that was the case, I can't say with absolution that I eventually wouldn't do the same thing. I'll probably get flamed pretty good for my comments by all the eccentric animal lovers who read this but if a dog owner has a chronic barker and no consideration for the neighbors then he/she shouldn't be surprised if that happens to their little pookie one day. |

How sad that someone would poison a family pet.
I would like to first add that I am adovate for animals,children,and issues concerning those who can not defend themselves.It's sad that anyone would have such a horrific nature to kill any being that has not cause danger or mishaps to anyone. Neighbors should give the pet owner the benefit of the doubt by addressing the barking with the pet owner. Give the pet owner the chance to correct the issue. Many pet owner let their both their cats and dogs roam the neighborhood. The distraction of other animals promotes barking. As a responsible pet owner, assure your pets safety by keeping it on your property only. If walking the pet, keep it on a leash. Many folks are not animal lovers, that doesn't make them an awful, unworthy person. The behavior involving abuse is is an unworthy behavior. Poisoning a pet is unexcusable. If the neighbor is disgruntle about the cute pup next door barking, try handling it in a responsible fashion. There are many avenues that one can take to stop the unwarranted barking. Civil court case may help resolve these issues if all else fails. |

People really just need to understand that, because animals do not have immortal souls, to kill them is not evil. Man is the steward of all God's creatures and should therefore care for them wisely, but when an animal is a problem killing it is a kindness.

That is the dumbest remark I have ever read. You have some nerve bringing God into the equation. First of all,yes we as human have stewardship over all animals. However when someone delibertly kills an animal that is a domestic pet is cruel. Animals that are not pets deserve more of a stewardship. I personally dont like crickets,I am not going to kill all the crickets I see. Man domesticated dogs and cats (along with other species),which makes them responsible for their care. No one has the right to kill their neighbors dog unless it was a life threatening situation. Killing this animal has done no one a favor. Animals are created by God. God does not intend for us as the superior race to present evil doings. Survial of the fittest mean to survive by what God has given us. Hunting to survive,and present danger are a few examples of Survial Of The Fittest. Now,prove to me that animals don't have souls. The questions may sound crazy,however no one really knows. It's certainly not in the bible. Which leads one to say,"humm I dont know" as oppose to saying,"animals do not have immortal souls". Laws are in place for a reason. It's also a sin to break the law. Please know what you are talking about before posting. You sound really crazy. |

Good the dam thing probably barked all the time and shit in his yard. If you cant take care of a dog and then don't get one.

I just had to reply to your post! Yes most people do bring up their kids in even a worse way. Most of you don't really bring up your own kids, the neighbors who suffer you do. I totally agree with proper care of an animal and being courteous to my neighbors. But if a dog is more trouble than your kids, you are one in a million. Most parents throw their kids outside and tell them to go play. I'll bet I spend more time in one week caring for my dog and walking him in the park than you spend with your kids all year. Just think if I was tired of hearing your kids scream all day long because you don't supervise them and dropped a little mercury in their toys. Then you might get the message you so sloppily throw around! |

If my neighbor ever took my pets life with antifreeze, you bet I'd beat his as* bloody and make him drink antifreeze till it took his life....pets are like children, I sleep with mine everynight and they are one of the family. To take away someones family member because of barking, cmon...i have a neighbor whose dog barks non stop, actually 2 of them and you know what, i just bit_ch and say whatever, only a sick bast_ard kills an animal....i knew a kid i grew up with and he would kill cats and got caught doing it and did jail time, hes legally mentally unstable from the marines
