One more rate increase with comcast and I'm gone, even with the triple play they are way too expensive. I made the switch to comcast phone last year and have had many outages that I never had with verizon and you only get the run around with them when you do have problems and problems don't get fixed fast like they did with verizon. I would say anyone thinking of switching to comcast phone service to think twice before they do.

Pretty much. Have used other cable co's and service was on a par with them. More channels on basic cable would be nice.

I got 16/2 Internet that rox, and phone service will all the bells & whistles cheaper than Always Taking & Taking.
Must be a geographical thing..

I'm quite happy with Comcast. They provide a great product with a wide selection HD channels. I love OnDemand and the Comcast Digital Voice has been working wonderfully. The internet has also been satisfactory. I would like higher upload, but am happy with the service currently.

I loved Comcast when I had the bundle package for $100.00, Cable, Internet and Phone. Then when that expired and the bill went to $225.00 a month I got mad. That is crazy, I like them but the rate they charge is nuts! Also the home phone never works. If they just lowered the bill then maybe people would be happier! But, I don't want to change because of the YES Channel. Who else carries it?

I had a service call in to have my comcast phone fixed, I watched for the tech all day long then I saw him pull up and never get out of his van and sit about a minute and leave. he never came back and when I caled about it they said I wasn't home. I told them I saw the guy pull up in his van and sit about a minute and leave so I was home. I cancled comcast and when back to verizon. Verizon my be more money but at least it works all the time. Don't make the mistake in switching to comcast phone service.

Most problems are due to crappy house wiring.too cheap to have the old non digital wire replaced with proper wire.

Sorry but picture quality sucks. Once i talk to Embarq about DSL will be free from them. My parents have Embarq DSL and I was suprised how good it was for half the cost. I dont download movies or big files, never will so speed lost is a non issue.

We're leaving Comcast. It's overpriced for the low quality of service and...
HDTV: Inconsistent HD and SD picture quality, esopecially with the new "HD Lite" channels, which aren't true HD. Also: inconsistent audio quality, few HD channels and little HD programming, a mediocre DVR (it's hard drive is too small, it constantly locks up and Comcast hasn't been able to fix the faulty Fast Forward in four years). The 1980's-era cable guide is tedious to navigate and the old-fashioned interface takes all the joy out of On Demand (which has little HD or widescreen programming anyway). Comcast is two years away from catching up to satellite in HD channel offerings.
INTERNET: The standard service is supposed to be 6MB p/s download but all we get is about 4MB p/s. It's much slower than a local, regional competitor's 10MB p/s (upload and download) fiber optic service.
PHONE: These guys can't get the cable TV programming right. Why would anyone buy the phone service? It came onto the scene too late anyway -- we switched to all-cellular four years ago...

Our comcast bill has gone up 150% over the last five years. It's time to dump the pig and go to direct tv or dish I told my husband.

Comcast is one of worse company I have ever contacted. They are really good in deceiving people by communicating wrong information. The sale representative and his manager both are so bad in customer service. I contacted them beginning of this month to have service at my business location. I was told to sign the contract right away to get the service by next week. It is more than three weeks, nobody every contacted. Will never recommend anyone for comcast.
