Las Vegas man wants trial moved in child's death

Don't be so quik to judge people this young man has his whole life ahead of him. he didnt do this crime he is just a suspect in this case, the newspaper is trying to make him look guity which he is not. before making rude comments think about what you say, would like for someone to say thing like that about you i dont think so. may this young man have a fair trail. I will be praying for you.

Whatever happened to innocent til proven quilty, that's what is wrong with these people, they judge without knowing the facts. what about the "friends of Levis who turned him in for reward money, now where are they now probobly buying drugs with the blood money. Now there in and out of jail and their stories are no longer matching up, and there are many inconsistencies, in their stories. Sounds to me like they threw Levi under the bus!

This case is very sad, i understand that some people are upset because the case got moved from Las Vegas. I think it was a very smeart choice he would not have a fair trail at all. what i have read in the newspapers about this case it seems to me that this man didn't do it which i think he is innocent in many ways. Both these's family's have been put through so much isnt it enough already. i think after he is proven innocent the sanchez family should apologize to the chavez family for judging and saying rude things about Levi. You are probly some of the ones who were questioned about the quality of fairness having the trial in Vegas would have. I know about the cars who have writings on them like R.I.P. Jasmine, Justice for Jasmine. Well maybe now she is resting in peace because her life was not a peaceful one. People act like who ever did this walked in on her as she was sleeping.... not the case...An accidental, horrible mistake, so very sad. Even the Optic stated the shooting was accidental. Who would have know someone was at that spot, sleeping?

All of the negative comments on this thread do nothing but prove why the trial needed to be moved. What's so wrong with moving the trial? The evidence is going to be the same, same lawyers, and judge. The only difference is the jury will not be so emotionally involved. They won't be so biased against Mr. Chavez. I believe that's why so many are upset. If it's proven that Mr.Chavez is innocent then who will this town blame? Let the justice system work as it should. Give up all this hate and negativity that you are all displaying.

he is innocent I'm a good friend of both family's and this was bad thing that happend to Jasmine but she is in heaven. she wasnt leaving a good life out here like her mother, she should of been home with her children taking care of them. I don't understand how someone could lose a child and not even care. I have two kids and i could'nt imagine losing them. Hang in there young man you will be home soon. the person that is being accusied for this murder is the wrong person. the person is a cris romero. its just that the las vegas police department is not doing thier investigations right. i think internal affairs should investigate the l.v.p.d. in this town if you want answers hit the streets this town is so small you will find out the truth sooner or later.

i would like to take the time to say i am from las vegas i dont kno niether familly personaly but i do know this that a person by the name of chris romero is going around braging to everyone that he is the one that pulled the trigger that night that jasmin garcia was killed. he is braggin that his friend is doing the time for the crime he comitted.

hi i just want to say i was a boyfriend of ruby sanchez for sometime and during the time we went out she never cared for her daughter that much she was always with rubys mother. and during that period of time ruby cheated on me with other guys that were pretty crazy and she and them were and are really bad into sellin and doing crack cocaine everone knows ruby sanchez is a crack whore and will always be one its just sad that her lil girl had to die for her screw ups.

I am a friend of chris romero we have been friends now for about 7 years. I had moved out of vegas to get away from all the trouble i had been getting into. I am telling u the str8 truth chris romero did kill jasmine garcia he told me that he did he wanted to hide out at my house and he would pay me but i didnt let him but i know he had a white boy friend with freckles n redish brownish hair he let chris stay at his house from what chris had told me. chris and that guy are really close friends i guess from what chris was saying. chris had told me that guy dosent like david and they set him up in all this mess and threatened him with a gun so he wouldnt say nothing and take the wrap. all i know is that chris romero did kill jasmine and david didnt they should be taking chris and his friend for tryin to hide the truth im just tired of lying i know for sure that chris did it and his friend helped him hide they should be the ones behind bars not david well GOD BLESS THE CHAVEZ FAMILY i know your son is innocent.
