I hate to tell you, but I'm sure a jury from Albuquerque or Santa Fe will view a child killer the same as a jury from Las Vegas would...

I agree! If you had the balls to commit this crime inside your community have the balls to face your fellow citizens. It's amazing how these criminals have no regrets or shame when committing these crimes. They have no problem harming the community then... he should be tried in his own community. Face your fellow citizens you coward!

Hang him in his own community. We don't have time for losers like you in ours. I hope he is punished to the fullest.

A good example of why we need the death penalty. What did this child do to deserve the death penalty that he gave to her!

Moving the trial would be a waste of taxpayer money. You are either guilty or not guilty.

Is this dude kidding? In the age of internet and cell phones (with their internet access), how does he expect to find a "untainted" jury? Any how, it won't matter where he's tried, he should go to prison for murdering an innocent child. Whatever his beef with her uncle could have certainly been settled in a more rational, non-violent manner. He shouldn't get special treatment after his inhumane and animalistic act.

His wish SHOULD NOT be granted, he needs to face the consequences especially killing a 6 year old. I hope he faces the death penalty or life in prison. We don't need people like that in our society.

Sounds like an open and shut case. Open the door to hell, give him a push, shut the door. Case closed.

Whatever. This little punk should have no say so in where his trial is held. Cry me a river. Im sure that poor sleeping baby girl would have made a diffrent choice of where to sleep when she was killed but No, we have idiots like this that are allowed to roam the streets and make choices. Choice my butt! I agree with the comment of open the door and boot his a** to hell. He deserves no choice, no say and no life.

We the family of Jasmine Garcia would not like for her case to be moved out of Las Vegas, for the reason that the killing was committed in Las Vegas and not elsewhere, which impacted the family and as well as the community when the incident occurred. According to an article published on Wednesday, stated that the defense attorney wants to move the case out of town because of emotional media coverage. But, why should the accused have the choice to choose where he is going too tried at? Jasmine wasn’t given the choice to die! The family has already suffered the emotional and financial burden of losing a loved one and now the defense attorney wants the family to suffer another financial burden by having to travel back and forth out of town. The people of Las Vegas and the state of New Mexico even Santa Fe and Albuquerque know of the killing of Jasmine, so if her case is moved to Santa Fe or Albuquerque the media will still be involved whether the defense likes it or not.

i think he should get a fair trail. he is just a suspect you need to remember that he has feeling and the same way you judge people GOD will judge you the same. i wish the best for him. i do not think he did it just because of what the paper has to say not everthing in the newspaper is correct.

This man is just a suspect and people already want to hang him thats not right. he seems like a wonderful young man i don't think he would do that. that little girl is in the best place she could be in heaven with GOD. her mother should have been home with her children where she belongs.

Daily Horoscope for November 30

Sagittarius

As much as the robust Archer would like to indulge, today you must mind your health. If you go out to celebrate the holidays, go easy on the rich foods and spirits. Too much alcohol and you might find yourself saying the absolute wrong thing to the right person, thus blowing what could be a perfectly lovely evening. Strive for moderation.
