I can't wait until they pave the road - lots of good rockhound spots out there to explore, and driving that road was always a pain.

BTW, driving from LC to Elephant Butte then back down to Cutter, that will impact the environment adversly, compared to driving straight to the port.

The Spaceport is there. It's not going anywhere. It actually has a couple of good contracts already. Who knows, it might actually pay off. There are several other spaceports being built across the country, but none have the advantages of this spaceport, plus we are way ahead of the game.

Crying about it now does no good, except for venting frustration. Hindsight is 20/20 and very expensive.

Spaceport America is NOT "ahead of the game". Other spaceports around the country have failed.

I bet carburator manufacturers said the same thing about the new fuel injector manufacturers.

Really, don't you think the road from the north was to create infrastructure for the heavy materiale deliveries, and ALL ALONG, the main access would be close to Las Cruces where the "hub" of activities is and will be.

T or C - NOT!

Maybe ya'll can rally behind Steve Green again, and he and gay boy can get their visitor's center in (another poorly designed) T or C downtown location. As if it matters...

Sorry, that's not economic development for a slum town that affluent people would want to visit anyhow.

Rock on Cruces, White Sands, and NMSU.

HATCH is a perfect I-25 stop for spaceport trinket tourism. The big pink pig can have a big spaceship next to it. It's a PORK stop, get it?

Well, the way I see it, the population of Las Cruces is roughly 100,000 (yikes!). The population of the T or C area is roughly 6k, lets be generous and say 7. So we have a 100:7 ratio. If we benefit in the same ratio, meaning we see 7 dollars of tourism money for every 100 Las Cruces sees, we both benefit in the same amount. Simply put, if we see a TENTH of what you do, we'll be doing as well or better than LC. Twist yer brain a lil?

Hey Deb, where is your anti-cyber bullying badge on this one? Or do you think this individual enjoys being called such a name (gay boy) in public?
Seems you let a lot of attacks slide by your moral compass if you agree with the overall message.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
