With the mountain range on the east side of town, it is possible that the sound waves created are intensified as they are reflected back onto the last waves to come from the boom. Yes the ground shook on the north side of town on the other side of 25; it did sound like a quarry being blasted with dynamite.
When someone notices a few pipes on the Organs have started to slide down the side of mountain, they will finally see this is not the place to create the sound of freedom, it has been an attack on the environment. I can't imagine how the woman with the crumbling ceiling from a few months back is faring now.
