One sicko. Once again we see the ego, the over inflated power, and the complete disgust. Another fallen figure working for the people. We must hold our government accountable. As for Franco, Hang him from a tree, take a sharp knife, and you feel in the blank. Great pick Department of Corrections. Corrections officers should not have previous records when hired.

You are right, but it's not just SJC, it's government every where. If you work for the government they will cover for their employees until it becomes impossible, like in this case.

Today after reading about Ex-prabation suprivisor being arrested for child porn the story states that this is not the first time the person has come under scrutiny for inappropriate sexual behavior in the work place going back several years why has our society made it ok for people to commit crimes or act inappropriatly and no one holds them accountable for their actions this is becoming more prevalant what are we teaching our children that it's ok to act out it's ok to commit crimes dont worry you wont get in any trouble thats what it sounds like to me we as a society need to stand up and set boundries for this type of behavior and it starts at home we need to teach our kids its not ok to act out inappropiatly its not ok to undermine authority its not ok to hurt others and teach them to own up to doing wrong and not sweep it under the rug the more we as parents avoid these situations with our kids the more likely they will become like Mr.Franco

More to come..... This really needs to be moved from SJC for fairness. Given his position he really needs to do time in Santa Fe, then get therapy for his sex addiction. Rehabilitation is possible Larry.

how could someone with a criminal record get a job working for the department of corrections. It doesn't matter that it was sealed, the department of corrections, as would any law enforcement agency, would still have access to that info.

this dude needs to be treated like the rest of the perverts that get caught and sent to prison so he wont be able to get a job serving the community ever again and the law should not let this go and make an example out of this guy we need justice done.

"Dept of Corrections possibly couldn't get the records because they were sealed." Not sealed too tight as they are all over the DT's story. I call BS on this, Franco is the perfect candidate for government work.

The sickening nature of this story leads one to wonder how many of Farmington's finest were involved ? How closely did Rob Mayes work with Franko and other justice department officials to see that his son did not spend anytime in jail ?

I would like to start out by saying San Juan County needs to snap out of it!!! We are still struggling to come out of the back-woods...Why do we fight growth, better hiring practices etc. The good ole white boy attitude is killing this community (and I am white) I am ashame of what we allow to go on within this community. This stupid man is just one of many of the so called professionals. I mean lets face it, we have had Procecutors that have been crack heads, we have had Probation workers protecting their serial killing sons, we have folks in city positions running guns, and it goes on and on and the cops-Please lets not even go there. We need a true overhall and we need it now...God help this two faced community. And then there are those who enjoy bring the hammer down on other only to go home and do the same or worse!

I guess I will never understand what is sexually appealing about children. It simply disgusts me that people do this. People like this shouldn't get the privilage of breathing.

FPD hires nuthin but rejects from other cities, depts, etc. Of course, they're not going to check see if the reject being hired is a pervert, drunk, whatever...
