Full story: Marin Independent Journal

This week, Zvi Danenberg of Larkspur stepped into history. Surrounded by more than 50 adoring fans who crowded the sidewalk at the base of the Arch Street steps on Magnolia Avenue, the 84-year-old retired school teacher - and his new knee - took the 1 millionth step.

Contragulations Zvi at staying young at heart.
I am skeptical if the IJ would have printed this article if someone from another nationality would have made this acomplishment since the majority of the media is Zionist owned and this newspaper prints many articles that are Jew based and it was written by a Jew.
I hope this doesn't sound racist but variety is the spice of life and other ethnicities do make up the rest of the human race.
I do have another question for either Zvi Danenberg or Jennifer Swartz.
1. How is Zvi Danenberg originally from Tel Aviv, Israel since Israel did not become a country until 1948 given Zvi's current age of 84 the year today would be 2032 if he was originally from Israel or that Israel would have been founded in 1925 if we deduct 84 years from 2009. Does the IJ mean he originally was from Palestine or is Zvi not telling us where he really was born given that Danenberg is not a middle eastern name but is of European origin.
The two major sources about this so-called country Isarel in ancient times does not come from ancient maps but from the Torah or what some call the Old Testament and an Egyption relief renamed called the Israeli Stele which only mentions the word Israel but does not specify if it is a place, person or object.
I am pro Hebrew just for the record and really dislike when history is mis-stated.

Pro Hebrew, Anti Zionist:
You are absolutely correct, when Zvi was born in 1925, the state of Israel did not yet exist. However, he held an Israeli passport before he became a U.S. citizen. He wasn't born here, either, yet now he is an American. So, I guess that he is truly "multi-national"
Go figger ;-)
