I think the children are not being taught how important it is to value all veterans.I do not see them being taught to honor them and participate in events on Veteran's Day. The children in Delaware county are in school on this day.How can they play a role on this Day if they are in school? Are the schools holding special events in school on this day? They should meet and talk with the veterans ,go to a parade that honors them,do something on this day to show their appreciation for them. The schools should set up more programs and events with the Veterans on this important day-if the students are to just treat this day as just another school day.
