This is great! A park not far from home. The owners are to be commended for keeping this park in such good condition, free, and family friendly. What an honor for this wonderful East coast park. Keep up the good work. It is always a pleasure to go there.

Absolutely the best amusement park in the nation! I have some of the greatest memories of Knoebel's. And it really is the greatest carousel.

Wife and I went to Knoebels for the first time 1 month ago. It is the kind of park that Dorney should have become. Kids everywhere were having a blast on too many rides to mention. Food prices were decent. Other than being a little bit of a pain getting there, it was a great day. Will go back again.

I hate that the NJ idiots are invading Knobels too. Last time I was there some bleach blonde NJ biotch almost caused an accident in the parking lot because she couldn't get off the phone and merge properly. I wish they would stop advertising how great the place is, just like they said living in the Lehigh Valley was...now look what happened here !!!

Knoebels is the kind of park that Dorney WAS. Let's just keep quiet about the place before they start bussing the New Yorkers in and turning it into the kind of park that Dorney Park IS.

That IS what Dorney USED TO BE....as recently as the early 80's when the OTT's & Cope's still owned it. And even then it was still modernizing as compared to it's earlier days. It was just like Knoebels when I was a kid. And no, I'm not that old. I still have kids in HS. |

Maybe you are too young to remember, but Dorney Park use to be that kind of park. A long, long time ago. |

I think that because there is no direct route from NJ-NY (I78) that Knobels will be safe. All the New Y and J rif-raf go to Dorney. And ASC is correct. It is the kind of park Dorney was. Too bad the all mighty dollar changed Dorney into an ugly American park.

I think this is something Dorney Park Officials should read and take a good long look at. this is how Dorney Park used to be, when you were able to take your family out for the entire day , and enjoy the park to the fullest. Now they "RIP" you off. I as a grandparent can't even afford to take my grandchildern there to enjoy it, like my parents & grandparents would take me. I am not one for rides anymore. I refuse to pay the admission prices to let my grandchildern enjoy a couple of rides.I "Praise" Knoebles Park. It is such a nice laid - back atmosphere, where I can walk with my family and still enjoy the "GOOD OLD TIMES"

Whats the best is that all the city trash stays away. It is a great wholesome and friendly place to be. Congrats

Yes...Dorney Park WAS the way Knoebel's IS. Knoebel's is definitely a fun park to go to...although the drive from the LV is a bit long. No wonder it's a big hit for campers.

Knoebels is awesome! TV Food Network rated their food the best in the country among amusement parks!

Note to Dorney Park ----- Big isn't always better and your case you didn't even make the list with that place you call an amusement park. I'll admit the park is nice. It's the crowd that you attract that ruins it for everyone.

Thank God for Knoebles. As a single father of a 6 year old, I can't even afford nor would I want to take him to see the trash at Dorney. Knoebles is a little bit of a drive but for a whole day of wholesome activities free admission it is a welcome from these $35.00 admissions and disrespectful people from NYC. I am relieved to have Knoebles, minor league baseball (Phillies are too expensive) and other things in the LV that I can actually afford.

Knoebles is the BEST! We took our grandson ther in July for the first time. He loved it! It has the best food, and a great price. I will NEVER go to Dorney ever again. Last time we went, we waited in line to get in for at least an hour, the line didn't move, too many people butting in front. It truly sux. Dorney did use to be like Kneobles.

The biggest rip-off at Dorney Park happens even before you get in - the parking fee! It's not like you even have an alternative for parking. And after that, the prices are all uphill!

Knoebles is great, I'm not a ride person anymore so I won't go to the parks that I have to pay One High Price just to walk with others in the group and push a stroller. The food and shops at Knoebles are great. Dorney won't ever be like that again, and it is not locally owned so they won't even care what we think.....

I love Knoebles - always have - our family has been going there forever. I've also LOVED that it's a well kept secret - UNTIL NOW! I don't want to see the warmth of the place destroyed by too much garbage........ ugh!

c'mon people let's keep this little jewel a secret or before you know it, that park will go to crap too. Too much good PR will attract bad PR.

Our family just got back on Sunday afternoon after camping there Friday and Saturday night. We spent 8 hours at the park on Saturday and had an abvsolute blast. We ate lunch at the "International Food Court" and had dinner at "The Alamo," an honest-to-goodness restaurant in the middle of this beautiful wooded park. I don't know what we enjoyed more, the food or the rides. I was also glad to see the campground and park were being enjoyed by decent "All-American" families, no rif-raf. I too hope our "neighbors to the east" find the distance too far. I truly pray that the owners never accept an offer to sell. That would mean the death of a "True American Jewel." Peace be with you.
