Michael, I do not mean any offense by my previous post in any way, by mentioning that odd things happen in the house. There is a very odd energy there, though that I wanted to mention. I am praying that your father finds comfort finally, and that he is reunited with the rest of his family in paradise.

Beth Suttie was not one of those murdered in the multi-family murder that everyone is talking about.

Beths murder was a few years later. Although many people believe that she was murdered by her boyfriend/husband (?) at the time it has not been solved...unfortunately.

Wow, I really opened up some old wounds. Sorry about that. And what's worse, the "incident" to which I was referring was NOT the Abt Family murders, although that event sounds horrendous and catastrophic to a great array of people as well. The event to which I was referring was the murder of a girl named Beth Suttie, with whom I graduated high school in 1967. She was either married to or engaged to Mark Clark (mentioned in one of the responses above) and "some" of the stories I heard informally linked him to the murders, yet others dismissed that train of thought, so I don't want to impune anyone's integrity or slander somebody's innocense. I am just very curious about that event, since we were very close as kids, and have found little written on it.
My family was very close to Beth as well. If you respond to this, I would be happy to help you learn more.

As I said though, the murder, although a lot of people thought it was Mark Clark, has not been solved. I did hear rumors that they were bringing the case back to life about 3 years ago. New evidence had come up or something.

Happened March 12th, 1976, my mom lived next door. I grew up with the older boys Cliff and Michael. Neither Cliff or Michael were at home at the time of the murders. Michael had tried to reach the family by telephone and was unable. When he came home he stopped a cop who lived down the street and told him that all the cars were home but no one answered the phone. The neighbor (Officer) went into the house a found the family Mr & Mrs Abt, Margie, John, Kathy Margie's boyfriend (who's name draws a blank at this moment) and Heidi the family St. Bernard.

I think you're talking about the Abt Family murders. It happened around 1974, I think, in Bensalem, Pa.(it might be the Trevose section of Bensalem) A neighbor was in love with one of the sisters, but she had a boyfriend. One day, he broke in their house, and, one by one, as each family member came home, he shot them. The only one to survive was a son, Michael, because he didn't come home.
The local paper is Bucks County Courier Times. The only reason I remember is because I was in fourth grade at the time, and went to school with one of the daughters, Kathy. I lived in Bensalem most of my life, and that's the only multi-murder that I can remember, or even any stories of one. Hope it's a help.

So I' ve researched these tragic and horrific events and I agree and disagree with many of the posts. To me this seems like something out of a novel. In regards to those who commented on the house being haunted/activity; this may lead to interest to those who are fascinated with ghosts, and hauntings... specifically paranormal investigators. You would not believe how many there are right here in Bucks its crazy. This is a piece of local history that many have never heard of until today such as myself but I too have lived through tough times... good friend was murder and I myself was stalked for 2 years until police finally came to a conclusion... My prayers go out to the families and friends to those affected by these horrible events and those that have lived and continue to live through it thanks>>>>>

I never knew mike but, cliff was a good friend of mine and my wife. Yes, he had a drug problem, but if you really knew him close, he was a kind and caring person. no one deserves to have their parents, sister, sister's fiance, gary, and their family dog murdered. yes, their saint bernard too. I talked to cliff months after it happened, and he was never the same. I think it was about 5 years later, he died from a drug overdose.so sad.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Capricorn

Mercury retrograde in your sign will cause some friction between you and other people during coming weeks. Matters that have been bubbling away in the background will come to the boil, forcing you to do something about them. Try not to overreact, nor to create a crisis out of something that's really very minor. You should also keep a strong sense of fair play and pay attention to every little detail.
