I understand the nurses at Summit Hospital will be wearing white uniforms. What a wonderful improvement over nurses wearing scrubs that resemble pajamas!

Great idea but shouldn't stop with those working in the medical field already. I am getting out withing the next 40 days and will be going to school for LPN. That is something that was practically impossible to do while on active duty. I would have loved to take science couses with lab and other courses you actually have to go to class for. I have always been on sea duty and isolated duty overseas. If there is such a shortage of Nurses, make sure the people on sea duty can take the couses leading up to at least a 2 year RN degree. I was admitted to the ER on 8/6 aprox 4pm. I got to my room @ llpm!!! Improving? Not @ Hahnemann.
I got a morphone drip and it was never refilled. Bag remained empty 'until I walked out of room, searching for a nurse. No one ever came when I pulled all the wires & tubing out of machines & moniter read CODE BLUE 9ll & NO ONE CAME in over 35 minutes. When I got to my room @ llpm, it was a living nightmare. Nurses station loud, laughing, constant holelring & noise. Lights on & patient in next bed moaning, groaning while equipment came in & bumped my bed. Nurse said I have to expect all this in a hospital and WHY was I admitted? By l2 30am, I was standing out side of the hospital, alone at Broad & Vine.....near the area a man was shot. I hailed a cab & came home. I was told I would be in the hospital for 3 days for tests. I could not stay in that room for 3 hours...and TENET wants to know WHY there are empty beds...just call me, I'll fill you in.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Cancer

You have a tendency to go overboard today Cancer, whether it's eating too much food, drinking too much or taking on more than you can handle at work. You simply won't know when to stop! You're in a very sociable mood and you're also feeling very easy-going, prepared to take people at face value and to turn a blind eye to their faults and foibles. And you hope they'll do the same for you.
