What is going on there next to I-40 east bound Gordonsville exit? Is it a mine of some sort or are they constructing something? Just wondering i was coming back from Nashville today and seen all the heavy equipment.

invading that is, shouldn't key when I'm miffed .. but I do like the small town feel we've always had, will miss it when it's gone and the crime rate here skyrockets. Not to mention traffic will be awful.

Yes the traffic and everything will be worse and more than likely the crime rate will increase, but what do you expect when they they put beer and liquor markets on every corner. On the other hand,I think it is great that they want to put a stip mall, that may mean a few more jobs in the county

the strip mall will sink just as the new liquor store will .. the revenue from the sales taxes paid on the liquor might soften the blow and it's a well known fact that it's not the locals(can't be seen buying in their home county) buying there it's out of towners, just ask the owners of the liquor stores in Gainesboro.
