Court date set for former Elko Police Captain Aaron Hughes

I beleive that Aaron is innocent. He is the kindest and most honest man that I have ever met.

I want to see what he's going to "plea" to. I'm sure we haven't even touched on 1/2 of what this joker has been up to. He's no Mr. Innocent by a long shot, and to get his daughter so caught up in this ugly mess, is a disgrace....

It was his daughter??!!!

it was a set up by his wife! look at the evidence and you'll see that he is innocent.

You absolutly right... we havent even began to touch on whats going on with this case... BUT I can promise... Aaron wont be the only one out there being questioned in this case!! Research what your posting before coming on to a public forum to "sway the masses"! Your #3 is so incorrect that I cant even begin to understand where you got your information!! That video doesnt show him... Hell the FBI cant even make a positive id that it is him! What makes you think that the people of elko are qualified enough to identify him, when the FBI couldnt!! Here are a few facts. Aaron was released into the custody of his parents, but lives with his girlfriend and her 3 children, including a little girl! She is a witness in the case and his bail states he is to have no contact with any witnesses, yet he lives with one. He is doing business under the name Aaron Doren, his girlfriend's last name, to deceive the people of Elko once again.

I know this is a true fact.You can talk to the poeple that live around her address 158 cascade drive in spring creek.They have also started a home improvement business together under Aaron and Olyna Doren.They both think they are smarter then the poeple around them.They think he will get off because he was a police officer and they can't do any wrong in this town.

I can't believe his girlfriend has custody of her kids still. If I was her ex I would take them away from her until he is gone. Now I'm not saying that Aaron is guilty......that has not been proven yet. But the alligations are there and his girlfriend has a young daughter in that house and it could happen again.
Someone needs to knock some sense in that fathers head!

He got off of the child pornography charges but they never said he was innocent or did not do it. He has a judge that is just as bad a Aaron is.Do some research on the age of a miner it ia 18.

I have known Aaron for years he is a great person and he has had some bad times just like the rest of us but to make sex tapes with a minor is CRAZY. Just because he was a cop dose not mean he is perfect all the time he is just a person u cant tell me that someone high up in a church has never done wrong. As far as him runnig things under another name I have a hard time beliving that what good would that do him he is so well known around here good or bad that people see him they know who he is but even if he is he is trying to move on with his life that people are trying to take away from him that is all I got to say other than leave him alone and let him try to make a life for himself that someone else tried to take away from him.

Do you have something personally to gain by exposing the address and name this person is using? Or are you just another gossipy, meddlesome neighbor.

He is not charged with rape. He is still not convicted of any crime. He is still innocent until proven guilty. One charge has been dropped and in desperation the DA is trying to take it to a higher court. The reality is that the supreme court will probably not even hear the case. Once this charge is dropped the other will probably go away as well. As for the incident at the mine his attourney will probably have that reduced to misdemeanor charges at worst.
In Nevada I thought the Constitution was better respected than this...Especially in Elko. If he is found guilty I'd cast the first stone, but not a second sooner.
The people in here are like a lynch mob just because he was a police officer. I wonder how many people will say they're sorry to him personally for judging him before he has his day in court.

Who cares?

He is a Law Enforcement Officer.

He has the RIGHT to do as he pleases.

We minions need to start understanding this.

If you want to have this type of authority, then become a LEO. If not, shut up, play dumb, and mind your business.
