Any word on The Raven opening soon?

The other thread on The Raven was getting too long, so hopefully updated (and accurate) news can be posted here.

I've been told that the opening should take place next week -- the goal is to be open for the New Hope Celebrates weekend events. I've seen the calendar of events and there is a printed advertisement for the Raven within it. I've also spoken to a few friends that have rejioned the staff of the Raven. I'm really excited and looking forward to it. I vowed to never go to the Nevermore -- and -- never did. I hope that hole closes up after the Raven reopens. All the best to them on their opening event & much success!.. THIS will bring me back to New Hope!

The best part about the Raven when it re-opens is the joy in knowing LARRY WON"T BE THERE!

I never went to the Nevermore either, but it does not seem logical they would rent out their one bar when they will loose all their customers from the other.

I think they are playing a shell game and are just moving everyone down to The Raven in hopes it will spark new intrest.

What Bob says here is correct. The Raven will be open for the New Hope Celebrates weekend.
I heard Bar and light fair only. No restaurant yet. That came from the New Hope Chamber of Commerce whom I spoke with last week.
Doesn't look I will make it this year but you guys/gals who do have fun check out The Raven and maybe some of you will come back here with some info. Enjoy the Pride weekend!

I live in New Hope and know that the Raven didn't get its liquor license in time for this weekend's celebration and therefore did not open.
Hopefully, it will be getting it in a few days.

I was there on Friday ... and .. I'm going back for more today. It was great to be "home" again!! It truly was like the good old days -- same great staff and a lot of the same clientele. I'm thrilled to have our Raven back!! Let's all ensure we patronize the place -- here's to the triumphant return of the Raven!

Hooray! Was there on Saturday afternoon. Great to be back. A few rough spots yet, though. Drinks were weak, not the traditional great drink. About 20 guys there (inside and out).
Hope everyone spreads the word that the Raven is back.
Andreas is one of the managers. A great guy!

I always thought it looked like a scene out of the movie "Cocoon"...except in the Raven's version there are no pods under the water to rejuvenate the skeletors that are trolling around. Oh and I just love the senior citizens who think they deserve to be with someone 20-30 years younger than themselves and then give you an attitude when you won't hook up with their ugly a**'s....

Daily Horoscope for December 6

Taurus

If you gave up over what happened yesterday, you stand a better chance of sorting things out today. Talking to the person who failed to go for the teamwork may help to get a grip on the situation, especially if you manage to avoid recriminations or accusations. Instead, do your best to be as understanding and compassionate as possible. Or just let it go.
