Seems like every couple of years the WI DNR tries pushing through a longer deer hunting season, and every couple of years the majority of the outdoor community says N.O. Absolutely not. It is too long already. We do not want to be held hostage in our homes in the fall and early winter.
Show me a state where a longer season has been successful in reducing deer numbers. There IS ONLY ONE WAY TO CONTROL DEER NUMBERS LONG TERM AND THAT IS TO MANAGE THE LAND CORRECTLY AND ALOW WOLVES AND OTHER PREDATORS TO FLOURISH!!! This is about generating more revenue for the DNR - not managing wildlife.
N.O.!!!! We skiers, bikers, hikers, nature lovers Do Not want a longer deer hunting season!!!

Hey, first of all to all skiers, bikers hikers, nature lovers and so on (which I also take part in)your all very welcome for all the tens of millions of dollars that hunters provide for ALL
outdoor enthusiasts. As usual and since the whole conservation movement started at the turn of the century CONSUMPTIVE CONSEVATIONISTS have footed the bill. One of the most recent examples, the elk reintroduction in WI (hmmm no PETA, Humane Society or loud urban protesters involved).
So Michigans longer season works there and it could work here in good old WI.
AND please survey the Northern WI locals including farmers on how great it would be to have even more WOLVES!!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND GOD BLESS AMERTCA!!
Happy Thanksgiving to all..and GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

Cancer

Your powers of concentration are finely honed today, enabling you to focus on something to the exclusion of all else. This is just what you need if you're hoping to make a big dent in your workload or you're doing something very fiddly or detailed. But it's important that you know when to stop, otherwise you might get really weary and lose your effectiveness.
