I'm glad you got your postcard.
BUT, the service at Concord Road
PO in York is very, very poor.
Try to mail an envelope and they ask
STUPID questions.
Say to them, first class and I need a
receipt, and all you hear are questions,
price quotes for getting the envelope
delivered in 3 hours for $139.78 or in
5 hours for $98.99.
Then of course, now they also ask if
you want a money order to give to some-
one.
Protocol at the post office makes
the service NOT a service.
Try the postal annex in Weis Markets
and they are nice, but several of the
employees don't put the postage on
while you are there, they lay it aside
and do it after you leave.
Frankly, I'm not happy with that. Put
the postage on when I buy it, while I
am there.

Did you misspell "HOMOrides" or something? Cause that'll probably give you hemorrhoids.

This is the reason why they should break all the labor unions in the postal service. American postal worker union and NALC National Association of Letter Carriers and any other worthless labor union should be shut down. They should close the postal service down and open it back up as a regular business. I would just love to see the postal workers go into work one day only to be turned away. For one lazy NALC worker they could hire about 3 non union workers. You have to explain the postal service on this one. Two pieces of mail were sent on a Saturday. One was sent media mail and was 1800 mile away. It arrived the following Wednesday. A so called First Class pice of mail was sent the same Saturday from Tennesee. This piece of mail arived on Saturday. It took a week for the piece of mail to arrive. I also feel the labor unions protect it's workers way too much. Look at the guy in Hanover that was stealing gifts cards from the mail. I think he got 6 months house arrest and some probation. He got to keep his retirement? I also feel if Pat the postal worker 25 years ago that killed and injured a lot of his fellow postal workers would have not shot himself would have been protected by NALC. He would have most likely spent a couple years in a nut house and then been let free.

same here!!...my parents mailed me a birthday card with a $50 bill in it about eight years ago. Never received it......It's funny, how our cards with MOOLAH in them never get delivered or are "lost", but a bill..I always seem to get those.

and before the rest of you go on a tangent...I am well aware NEVER to send cash in the mail, however my parents are elderly and WERE trusting of the postal system. Not anymore!!!

Come on.Do you really want us to believe that you really sent $100 and it did`t get there. We would have heard about that by now.Find something real to talk about.Besides that you should know,YOU DON`T SEND MONEY through the mail.

Dale,
You must be pleased to receive this link from the past. You look great in your picture. So, now you are 60, and doing what you like to do. And there is lots more yet to come. Hope to see you and Kathi some time this winter.

Remember what they always say: "The $100 bill is in the mail". What a dumb a$$ you are. Bet you a $100 bill you also voted for oBOMBo. If I win the bet, just send the $100 bill in the mail. Should you receive an e-mail from Nairobi telling you there is $1m waiting for you if you will only send them $100. Be sure to send a $100 bill in the mail. What's seconds is thirds.
Anyway, nice story on the postcard...

Why not plan go back to school? Choose to study a subject that will change your direction in life. You may be limited in the short term, but overall it will be worth your while. You will be emotional about money matters if you let cash slip through your fingers, but a romantic evening of cultural pursuits will restore your soul.
