Why all the gang Violence in Northern Pico?

I strongly suggest you watch a program called "The Pig Bomb" It's A Discovery channel program about an invasion on US land that is so radically stressing the Local land and resources that it threatens the very existence of even the most minute beings and inhabitants. They are brown, the reproduce beyond there resources and they Destroy and devour there surroundings..(look the program up) This is why I use that term "PIGS" I cannot think of any better comparison.... I can answer your question. When Pico was county it was an agricultural area. Therefore, police enforement in this area was not present. Gangs begun to form as this was a gathering for them. No park activities were present. Nothing was developed at this area. This was a very low income area so it was neglected. Around the early 60s patroling was spastically seen. When they did patrol they mistreat the youth, pushing them against the wall, cussing at them, and using other methods. Now there is more patroling as crime has increase. Captain Rothan states crime is down. I have seen a crime chart of cities categorize from 1 to 7. One is the highest in crimes. Pico Rivera was #4 and is now #3.
Many shootings, jabbings, fights, etc. are not reported to the Whittier Newspaper. Consideration and attention to the northern side would have prevented most of this. Neglection brings forth disillusions.

There was another shooting (multiple shots) a young man was hit ,a truck was shot up in front of a business North of beverly blvd, towards sports arena.whats going on I've heard alot of shots lately. So does anybody know what happened or if the guy made it. Police did say the victim was a gang banger. peace out
