He is endorsed by Jim Backstrom, Dakota County Prosecutor/witness tamperer. Does one need to read any further?

Right. Gundys out, and thats good. But Backstrom is still there. Of course he will endorse someone who will follow along the script. Backstrom puts 85 year old ladies (who drove down an exit ramp the wrong way) in jail. He is the type who would try and convict a conceal & carry holder for murder if a burglar breaks into their home and gets killed. He is BAD news and must also be replaced.

I knew I recognized "Bud's" name from somewhere.
If that isn't a ringing, upstanding endorsement, what is??

Take the power back people! Start local! Don't let fear mongering bully people into voting for the "powers that be."

such bitter people have to have an ulterior motive to post this kind of junk. Gudmundson an embarrassment to the county? yeah right! I have known Dave Bellows for many years and he is a stand up fellow with many accomplishments and a exemplary dedication to the public. Dave will make an outstanding sheriff!

Yes, he was an embarrassment to the county. You didn't know him very well if you think he was "upstanding". I hope Bellows is better, and can stand the thought of people running against him come election time. But if he was that close to Gundmundson, he cannot be trusted and he must not gain that office. Its time for some NEW leadership in Hastings all together.

If this is true, prove it. Name something he's done that is "crooked." These comments are anonymous anyway -- what are you afraid of?

Your accusations are general and you provide no evidence. I'm not saying you're wrong. I am saying you give nothing to defend your position. Please explain.

Anybody but Gundmundson. He was an embarrassment to the department, and crooked as all get out. He should be in jail himself for the crap he pulled while in office. e.g. anyone in Dakota county who ran against him in the past was run out of the county. It will come out in the wash eventually.

Backstrom is a pretty tough character,'tis true, but when did he put an 84-year-old woman in jail? Remind me of this. Or are you just making that up?

In Dakota County it is time for our tax dollars to being paying the County Attorney, The Sherrif's Department, and Judges for men and woman who are looking to conduct an honest justice system where fair investigations are done.
As of now you can spend time in jail or prison for anything or for nothing. No one is safe from being accused of anything and being found guilty due to poor investigations and one sided trials.

Voters Beware. If no one runs against these people then write in votes to show your disgust with what is happening in our county.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Virgo

If the past few days have been a blur of cooking, washing up and wrapping paper, take a break today and catch up with loved ones. Have a long talk with one of them so you can find out what they've been doing lately, or discuss a topic that concerns both of you. Right now, you're blessed with plenty of diplomacy so the conversation should go well.
