A Lakeville grandmother will spend her weekends behind bars after pleading guilty Monday to a count of second-degree manslaughter for her role in the death of her 6-week-old grandson, Evan Michael Berney.

Weekends in jail? What an odd sentence. She shouldn't have been drinking period while taking care of such a young child. And drinking while taking antidepressants is especially stupid.
This woman deliberately did what she knew that she shouldn't be doing. I think that if a guy did this he wouldn't be getting just weekends in jail. |
