What a shame. Was this over the pot? Hope not, will just give people one more reason to fight it. As for Hopkins and his evidence, is this all he truly has, photo and a statement from the victim? And this is enough to prosecute? Knowing Hopkins, he will definetly conjur up alot more!

So I guess if someone you know walks up and shoots you without killing you and leaves, you expect the DA not to do anything based on your statement because that would be dumb huh? Or perhaps the DA wants more evidence but this is it for now. There is a general theory out there that people generally won't start thinking about lying who did something to them by falsly identifying someone else unless it is a mistake in identity rather than an intentional false identification. It sounds like this guy knew who did immediately and later. Don't know the DA or Deputies but sounds good so far. Make sure you give the DA your name so they flag a case that comes before them for you being a victim so they know your expectation level.

Couple three years ago, Hopkins convicted a fellow of murder where there was no corpse, no weapon, no physical evidence of any kind. I believe Mr. Rhoades was the defense attorney in that case.

"wtf"...the first responders ie...those that testified saved the life of this victim and they are accused of being liars?????? how dare you liz de carro or whatever you call yourself can all you law enforcement basers tattoo your poser law enforcement baser screen name on your forehead just in the event they have to respond to save your hiney...so they know not to waste their time as you consider everyone in law enforcement everywhere to be liars...why they strap on 40 pounds of additional equipment and drive around in a vehicle placing them as a target will never cease to amaze me?????? I'll bet when the female officer that ended the seige in Texas testifies, there will be someone out there critical of what she did in a split second and she'll be accused of lying on the stand or falsifying her report. I trust you are all enjoying popcorn with your monday morning quarterback criticism.

If you live here in Lake County.... You need to watch this, about our corrupt Sheriff's Dept racially profiling.

Nothing New here in Good Ol Boy Country. I wonder how Mitchell is going to like it when he gets his white A= S= S beat in the next Election by a Cuban American!!!!??

..Anyway. Nov 12 6pm west coast time, tune in to see why the Citizens of Lake County will be cleaning house... Not to mention our DA who is as smart as my retarded Bulldog. I don't care what color a person is... as long as they are honest and not corrupt!

A Badge DOES NOT MAKE YOU ABOVE THE LAW!! And you boys know which ones Im referring to... And they can kiss my White Irish A=S=S!!! HYPOCRITES.. Doing off Duty, what they arrest people for while on Duty!

I am so Happy Obama is my President.

There will be no more racial accusations made in elections anymore.

I am so Happy Obama is my President.

Unless it is a minority making the accusation, then is ok because Obama is my president.

Grow up and leave race out of local politics. The election is not about race, it is about who will do the job best.

I am so Happy Obama is my President.

Your Happy, and every Gangster/Thug is envious of Obama...
He gets to drive around in a Pimped Out Black Cadillac Escalade, Blinged Wheels, Tinted Windows, A Posse and best of all... Bullet Proof!!! But... If you were like myself, and had a son in the Military, Im not Happy... Its pretty scary.... We have a War to deal with, and no time for "On the Job Training" with our new elected mouthpiece Arm Chair Warrior!! Do you think there is Champagne & Pimp Cups in his ride too? While our boys endure K-Rations and Tanks?

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Pisces

If you-know-who has been getting on your nerves recently, matters will soon come to a head and force you to take drastic action. As Mars turns tail in your sixth house, you might finally lose your rag with someone at work who's been testing your patience to the limit. Stand your ground if you feel you're being messed about in some way. Clear the air if needs be, but don't create a really nasty atmosphere by throwing an eye-popping tantrum. Take care of any infections.
