can anyone give me any info on a murder that happeened 23 or so years ago involving a mother named Joy and her son Steve whom she took to work with her on a saturday and a man came in and took a piece of lumber and beat them both to death I went to church with them they were wonderful people but I moved back to virginia and never heard anything more about the case I always thought her boyfriend had something to do with it because she had confided in me that she was pregnant and was afraid to tell him because he was well known in the community and church
