now that you have created all this interest in healing through prayer why not do an undercover investigation. I noticed you guys could hardly keep a straight face when you reported this outrageous lie. Man has never been healed through prayer and never will be.

I have been to Lakeland for this revival. It is the real deal. If you are questioning, or are in the least bit curious, go see for yourself!

Do you KNOW someone that was personally ill and was completely healed, not just believing but actually healed. These things are incredibly easy to pull off this day and with a few electronics. God is good and God is great and if He wants you healed he will make it happen without traveling to a place in front of a bunch of people. I doubt if he would want to make a big show about it. I know for a fact He can and has and no show was made of it. It just took a strong belief and faith, with complete surrender to His will.

I have some terrific beachfront property I would like to sell you in Nebraska. Interested? This is just quackery at its finest. If it were that easy, everyone would go there. No need for medical advances when someone can touch your forehead and heal you. Bunch of B.S.

May I interject for but a moment? I'm not a "blogger" at all. I never do it. This is merely a link that I stumbled upon looking for something else. Nor am I privy to knowing how many of you are believers in Jesus, but I couldn't help notice the scripture that burned in my heart while reading this discussion. It reminded me of what Jesus said about the end of the age:
"Wars, famines, earthquakes, chaos" & as you can see on this blog, "the hearts of many will grow cold." I believe that the contentious people of this discussion are operating in fear. Fear. You are afraid of the possibility that this COULD be "of God"...afraid because that means you are wrong & you'd have to change your beliefs. I too am a very educated man myself, a D.O., but patronizing, ridiculing, and just blatently being curt and antagonistic will never be the answer, folks. Putting those people down, the people in Florida, calling them "rednecks" & POS's!!? Come on. You wouldn't like it if someone stereotyped you because of your socio-economic backgrounds, would you? Folks, your words HAVE POWER, and you're using that power to cut down and destroy, instead of build up and encourage. Use your words for exhortation instead. These people in Florida are receiving a hunger and passion for the Lord Jesus...what's wrong with that??? I mean, He DID create us..what's wrong with loving Him A LOT? Would you like it if your husband or wife, etc, only loved you A LITTLE BIT? Or would you prefer them to be glimmering at the thought of you? I'm sure God doesn't mind when people are drawn close to Him because of people converging with others & it being titled as a "revival" ...just so long as HE is exalted, and ostensibly HE IS being exalted in these meetings at Lakeland- I've been tuning into it myself and it is remarkably tantamount to the "revival" I became aquainted with when I was younger. This will produce the same fruit as what I was aquainted with--passion for God and surrender of my will to Jesus. Since then, I have NEVER BEEN THE SAME, PERIOD. My hunger & passion for the Lord Jesus has been growing for years at a blinding exponential rate since then & I thank Him and PRAISE HIM for the experience He allowed me to be a part of with that revival. I myself have seen healings, etc, I know THE DIFFERENCE, being a Dr. of Osteopathy, of when the MIND/BODY heals ITSELF & when it was BECAUSE OF A visitation from the LORD. There's quite a difference in that. But let me change the subject: It wouldn't matter if you went to Lakeland to "see if this is real or not", nothing would happen to you (a healing, etc) if your heart is hardened to the truth. Even Jesus couldn't do many miracles in HIS hometown because there were a bunch of doubters & critics...if THEY HAD this technology in those days, THEY TOO would make a blog like this & badmouth Him as well!! The point is, Jesus is real, and like in the book of Acts (i think it was), if this isn't of God, respond as the apostle Paul did and REJOICE, because AT LEAST Jesus and His GOSPEL is being preached!! Does anyone find it ironic that "God" just happened to show up in Lakeland a few weeks before we started getting our stimulus checks?

We can only hope that this is the end of times. Many many years ago the world appeared to be growing, It seemed each day would be better than the last. Now, Its all I can do to wake up and hope that this day will not end worse than the last. In general my life is great, but i cant help but to have a pessimistic view of the future. Can things get any better than they were? I don’t think the world will be a better place in the future. The American dream is a shadow of what it once was. Wars, natural disasters, and general discontent for our fellow man have left our people with a hollow hole in our souls. I’m not a god fearing person, but these are the beginning of the sorrow. I don’t know if the man mentioned is a fraud or not, but it does not matter. It was written that the end of times would be marked by several events including: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. AND For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. And another sign of things to come: And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. Wow read any forum and you will see what is meant by "then shall many be offended, and shall hate one another. Fitting to see so much discontent for our fellow man in our new open forum on our internet. We have been given so much power over our world it’s a shame to see the leaders and masses showing so much disregard for our fellow people.
I see too much hate in this world. I wish my people could show more love.

What freightens me is that you are actually a doctor and you believe in this hocus pocus B.S.. I sure hope that anyone considering to choose you as a physician does so wisely. Of course a D.O. is not the same as an M.D. and they look at health and well being from a more scientific and rational standpoint.

Todd's a facilitator of an "outpouring of God". You're applying that scripture in an inappropriate way. I've never seen anyone give more Glory to God than Todd, and he's using the media and the healings to bring the lost to Christ, to deliver the Gospel in it's FULLNESS, and to proclaim the mighty works of the Lord.

Wow, I have never imagined that people really believed so strongly in what was impossible! You know, some of the people on here are talking about this stuff being totally impossible and you sound like the guy in the movies that always has no faith, only to get proved wrong. There are people on here talking all about how they are so certain that this could never happen, but have never had enough guts to hope for something outside their realm of "possibility". Many here are talking about how God can't heal you and you have never even given Him a chance. But until you walk with Him, you won't start to see healing or change of any kind. There is no hope in not trying. So basically, you are just living in fear of having to change your life to God's standards, fear of a challenge. Not my style, sounds like the easy way out. Even atheists like seeing Christians who live what they are supposed to believe.

Cassandra, go to the Lord for your child's healing, yes, He is ready and able to respond to your faith. But don't let desparation make you look to Todd or the Lakeland crowd for healing. The Holy Spirit of God would not be engaged in that type of circus. And I do mean circus. Barking, roaring, clucking, laughing, falling. It's the end-times false revival the Bible warns about that would "deceive even the very elect". Even unbelievers can spot it. Don't have to believe me. Ask the Lord to show you in His Word, and then open the Bible. Your answer will be right there.
