Aaronson is evil. It is not the first, nor will it be the last time, he has belittled public speakers. He is another Mary McCarty when it comes to hearing others' opinions.

It's only Burt's opinion that counts according to Burt.

Great that these tea party people came to the meeting.

Burt wants it both ways. When you do show up he claims there are others who have a different opinion and then when one doesnt show up, Burt claims there is no interest (gee, Burt do you think people may work, have other obligations during your early morning meetings?)

Arrogant Aaronson is a great moniker for this guy. He's too old to be serving, part of the olden days where a nasty attitude was supposed to knock back opponents.

Well, Burt not nowadays, we don't have your money, we don't hang around with millionaires and take free cruises and ask for more tax money for a film fest that get your mug in the paper and makes you feel like a bigwig...you're a leech, Burt plain and simple.

Burt leeches off the public funds. What is best for him, his district is paramount...to hell with the rest of the county.

Time for those Tea baggers to start circulating a citizens' initiative to have district wide commissioners, to have shorter term limits and to make sure the public voices are heard loud and clear and that a nasty, obnoxious man allows the people to be heard.

The public wants the opportunity to vote out these nasty, hostile commissioners. That can be done by having district-wide commissioner, not just specific district commissioners.

Teaparty people also include an initiative that any large expenditure be brought to the public for a vote.

Look at what the city of WPB mayor put the citizens in debt for;
Look at what the Village of Wellington council has pushed forward without the citizens approval...a municipal complex plus the fight continues to GIVE away 60 acres for free to PB Community College.

Bring it to the people. Perhaps, these tea party people can do it.

Perhaps, Matt Wilhite can start that in Wellington. A referendum Matt, for such Wellington giveaways and extravagant expenditures all the while planning on raising millage and property taxes....come on, Matt get the initiative started.

Boo to that nasty dude, Aaronson.

It is inexpressibly heartening that the "tea-party"group remains alive and active. Much that is wrong with governments at ever level is traceable to inactive voters who fail to do proper election research and, as one result, keep returning to government the crooks who have been all too prevalent on the Palm Beach County Commission.
It is to be hooped that the "tea party" groups across the nation continue active and, in fact, grow in numbers and purpose and put the pressure on politicians to pay attention to noon-lobbyist constituents and prooperly represent those constituents.

The teas party leaders should be looking over the shoulder of the Boca Raton city manage-- when it comes to massaging the data, he has been an expert at supporting his position that always results in more development, which has resulted in a ruined city

Wow, you are beyond delusional.

If you think that we liberals are doing anything other than laughing at your inept pot banging at these racist mob gatherings, then you're crazy. Why would we be steaming mad... we won the election. The real revolution happened on November 4th 2008 when we came out in record numbers to landslide President Obama into the White House. Maybe you should ask your doctor (once Obama sign Health Care Reform), to keep you medicated for the next 8 years; it is going to be hard on you as we celebrate one victory after another.

More than 900 Tea Party groups nationwide will hold protests Wednesday against ABC News’ one-sided, supportive presentation of the Obama administration’s plan for a nationalized health care system.

Called “Questions for the President: Prescription for America,” the special edition of “Primetime” airing Wednesday at 10 p.m. on ABC News will feature President Obama, speaking from the White House, touting the Senate Health, Education and Labor Committee’s proposed legislation for a government takeover of U.S. health care.

The hour-long special will not include arguments from experts who disagree with the costly legislation’s intents to reduce individual freedoms in making medical decisions and to limit access to affordable, quality health care. Rather, Obama will answer questions about his vision for socialized health care from a panel of Americans selected by ABC News.

“ABC News has shown extreme bias in coordinating with the Obama administration to broadcast this special without presenting both sides of this serious issue,” said Everett Wilkinson, Chairman for the South Florida Tea Party and grassroots organizer.“This program is essentially an infomercial for socialized health care, and every American deserves to learn the truth about this legislation through fair and balanced journalism.”

Tea Party Patriots will gather outside ABC News stations Thursday to call for more objective journalism and to protest Obama’s stance on nationalized health care. Citizens are encouraged to bring signs, and those who cannot attend are asked to boycott the ABC News program.

We will continue to pull American History from the Schools, and replace it with Holocaust studies.

We support Israel through our elected officials.

I would like to know where all these tea party folks were when Bush and Cheney were busy trampling the United States Constitution? Talk about government abuse of power..how about wire tapping US citizens? and exporting detainees to countries like Syria for "interrogation"? Let's not talk about how Bush/Cheney manipulated intelligence to promote a war in Iraq? hmmm..where was the outrage when, surprise all those AMD's (isn't that why we went to war?) were just a big mistake.
Where was the outcry when Bush started bailouts to the banks without any accountability?
You just cannot blame Obama presidency for the mess that 8 years of Bush/Cheney blunders created.
I don't get it.
The Republicans have given their party over to the Glen Becks, Sarah Palins, etc who are using the right wing extremists to push their agenda and try to win back congressional seats that they lost. I would hope that the more reasonable people in the Republican Party would denounce this foolishness as this won't fly in a general election.
I don't know about these tea party backers, but my health insurance sure has outpaced my income! I would like to see reform. Are the tea party backers really backing the insurance companies? it doesn't sound to me like they give a flip for working stiffs like me that can barely afford my health insurance and if I lose my job and have a health emergency..guess what..bankruptcy here I come.
I cannot get a handle on what these people are for? only what they are against.
AND- when I see the horrible signs they carried at the DC rally--It reminds me of marches in the middle east in countries that hate Amercians and carry horrible signs and burn effigies of our Presidents. Honor your democracy. President Obama did win by a majority. The people have spoken.

No birth cert.

And we are not a democracy, we're a Republic.

Also, we may never know the answers to your questions.

The Dumbocraps pulled American History from the schools.
40 years of socialist in the schools,
and affirmative action,
and 35 year old black fire fighters,
can't read or write.

Limo libs, keep minorities down, and encourges child prostitution with our tax dollars.

Your days are numbered.

Do the math.

Gail, do you really think they care if you can't afford to see a doctor? They can see one and that's all that concerns them. They've screamed "death panels" while 49 million Americans can not see a doctor at all (death panel anyone?) and big insurance companies decide if they want to cover the expense of saving grandma or the baby now (which they often deem the care too costly). I'm not sure if they are fighting so hard against their own interest due to mental deficiency, ignorance, or merely following party lines like good little sheeple.

Also, have they even considered the huge burden THEY will have to carry when 49 million Americans can no longer work AND have huge medical expenses/hospitalizations and disability claims due to the PREVENTABLE diseases they couldn't have treated that got so much worse?

Who will pay to feed the children of these disabled/ill people when they can no longer work because they were denied the right to see a doctor merely because they don't have as much money or a job with a union or federal guidelines offering medical insurance?

Also, who will cover all the lost work that these 49 million Americans can't do because of illness/disability? GNP will suffer. American productivity will be poor. Will the tea party chumps pick up the slack or point more fingers at our leaders who they didn't listen to but had much more foresight than they?

Wouldn't it be cheaper, better for our nation, and much more moral/ethical, and lucrative for everyone to ensure that these 49 million Americans are well enough to continue working and caring for themselves and their families?

They will be caring for these people with their tax dollars and are yelling socialism at the same time. They are ensuring that what they fear the most happens.
I disagree
