My husband & I are relocating to the area for about 1 year. Having one heck of a time finding any rentals there. We have 2 small dogs, 1 cat (inside only) Is this area thinly populated?
Is there alot of farm land? Looking to rent a house, any advice would be greatly appreciated. No children/schooling. Thanks--- |

Roselawn is a small community and there other towns around also. I personally like Roselawn. It is small without the hustle and Bustle of the Chicago area suburbs. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores in the area although in Roselawn proper there is only one grocery, IGA. personally I find them a bit high so I shop at Aldi's in Lowell, Walmart in Valpairoso. I stock up when I go there to save money. I try not to shop at IGA because of their high prices. As far as rentals, there are few, but if you look around especially in the "shopper" type of papers you will probably find something. And yes, lots of farmland.
