Big deal, they keep going over the same prevention issues that most citizens already know. Issue is that Rhinelander cant get the H1N1 vacine, nor the regular flue shot. So.....we will all just "hope for the best" and continue to wash our hands and cough on our sleeves.
The ones that should have the answers DON'T.

H1N1 is in the schools in Rhnelander. My nephew was taken in to emergency yesterday and was told he has H1N1 flue. The schools have higher than usual absentee rate and as the Dr. said yesterday "the cat is out of the bag since mid last week." Yet nothing has been reported either by the local media or the schools/ hospital/clinic. It is a secret Rhinelander wants to keep secret. It is truely doing our community damage by the schools NOT reporting what is going on. To make matters worse the H1N1 shot is still NOT available. My other nephew living in the same residence has severe health issues, and may possibly catch this from his younger brother, his health, I guess is not to be condidered . This silence from the schools/clinic/hospitals could cost these children their lives. Parents should be notified and make the choice whether to send their kids to the breeding grounds we call our schools. No one answers the phone at the grade school, cant get a hold of the school nurses, everyone seems to conveinently unavailable. The superintendant of schools should be ashamed of himself, and hopefully there will not be any fatalities due to his silence and lack of reporting this ever growing illness. Unacceptable protocol by school admin. Obvious they just dont know what to do. Hey call Crandon, Merrill, LDF, Three Lakes, any place that has done the right thing they will give you a clue Mr. Erdahl.

Why hasn't the rhinelander school district kept parents informed w/H1N1 reported illnesses, they can send home notes when someone has head lice in a classroom, but NADA when we are in a panademic and no shots (regular flu or H1N1)are available for our children and students...It is a no brainer how we should vote on another referendumb under our existing administration. Please cover your tracks and forget about covering your cough !!
