i bet chris wished this were true. he is probably the most hated man (not)...(oops!) person in lo. co. i hear things are really getting bad at the jail. most people just trying to stay out of his way. too bad we couldn't vote again tues. for sheriff knowing then what we know now. what a year it has been with him at rhe realm.

I really enjoyed working at LCSO under Paulk. Now LCSO consists of back stabbing, lazy slugs getting rank, bringing back people who were fired, and a generally hostile work environment. It used to be a fun place to work, now it sucks.

well, your right jd lost, but now we have something to compare. the recent bank robbery in lake park, where there is a picture of the new administration standing around, does anyone else feel like there should be a caption to the picture that says which way did he go george? the only thing else needed is for the new lt in the jail to be in the picture. in saying all this, they did not arrest anyone did they? well that same bank was robbed about 2 years ago, feel free to research it. in that bank robbery, the suspect was arrested by the fugitive unit, which was run correctly by a now demoted rob p. then the evidence was located by a canine handler that back tracked the suspect through the gold course. that canine handler now fired for no reason. why did they not use the great new blood hound, or is the dog failing his tests too?

Was also there under the Carter admin.(better known as the Funeral Sheriff). No one compares to the way Ashley ran the WHOLE dept. Ashley gave you 2 chances...One request...one demand... then you were out the door.Don't believe it? Ask Mel Ricks, Belly Selph. You could even ask Mike White...He just had the good sense to do his job...that being what Ashley asked him to do...Unlike chris...sho just went in firing good people and making others so scared for their jobs that they don't show their face unless they have to. It won't matter if the new dog fails his tests, Chris will just give him whatever job he wants just like his handler. Chris does things to be vindictive not for the good of the department. The promotion of the new corporal was all about who kisses the most butt. He is one of the laziest deputies on the road. Seniority should only mean something for promotions if that person is also doing the best job but I guess it just depends on how much time you spend with Chris and Joe and agree with them. The community is realizing their mistake and are already talking about the next election and they want anyone but Chris or Joe!

You are absolutely right! the eyes are opening to what is going on in our county. How mass MASS shootings have we had? Irregardless of the fact that it happened in the city...Just shows how lax the law enforcement has gotten, and not enough butt being kissed to get the job done.

Those deputies that sued and won in Atlanta were under a merit system and not at the pleasure of the sheriff like they are in Lowndes County and the rest of Georgia, I guess they have plenty of money to waste on a suit where in the end the only winner is the attorney representing them as he will get paid regardless of the outcome, I seen several like this in other counties and the officers always lost. Maybe the three are hoping the county will settle to just to get it over with? I know Mr. Paulk hates being sued, and since they were hired under his watch and now that he is Chairman of the Commission they are also going to name him and the County. Trust me he wont settle on anything frivolous as such. Better start rolling your quarters. seems to me the sheriff left his pleasure in thomasville ( some woman he lived with for a while, is what i hear)

I see that Chris is still wasting money re-striping cars and making new positions for his buddies. Too bad for Jamie Smith that Chris needed his position for someone else and put him on patrol, not exactly what Chris promised him but what's new. Chris is a lier and people are beginning to see him for what he really is. That smile is as fake as he is. Hopefully the next three years will pass quickly before he does too much damage and we can elect a sheriff that actually knows what he is doing and does things for the good of the Sheriff's office not for spite or because of campaign promises. I wonder is Jamie and Roy Hart regret their alliance with Chris.
