Karyn AOL	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #2 Sep 23, 2010 I believe PVI hill was named after a hotel/inn/lodge/bar that once stood at the bottom of the hill, which burned down many years ago. What "PVI" specifically stands for I don't know. Likely PV-something Inn.
