COOLBAUGH TOWNSHIP Man doing yard work struck by vehicle and killed A sport utility vehicle struck and killed a 49-year-old Monroe County man doing yard work at the front of his house along Route 196 in the Tobyhanna section of Coolbaugh Township on Tuesday afternoon.

It's horrible that something like this had to happen, which I'm sure was totally preventable if the driver was focused on the task at hand; DRIVING! I would like to know what the outcome of the police investigation and the fate of this woman. I think the maximum penalty is in order. How do you run off the road into someone's yard and kill them on accident? PAY ATTENTION AND DRIVE!
