Bed-wetting blues: Millions of adults suffer, too

I think there are far more adult bedwetters than most people realise. It is great that there are sites like these where we can chat and connect with other adult bedwetters.

Hi,

My husband has recently started to wet the bed.He has suffered all those emeotional feelings such as shame,humiliation, anger and embarassment.

I finally pursuaded him to speak to his GP which he found hard.It appears that there is no cure for what he has and no medical reason for it. So all we can do is manage the problem. As a result he wears adult nappies and plastic pants to bed again the association with babies was humiliating for him and he used to slip discretely into bed. after a while and me telling him that it was perfectly normal he has started to accept it.

Now for me I actually like to see him in his nappy he is still the big strong man that I married and I enjoy making love to him whether he wears a nappy or not. In fact I get turned on by the feel of his wet nappy bulge between his legs. He does not believe me so hopefully when I show him this post he will.

Good for you. I hope he comes to terms with it now he knows you still love him. There are far worse conditions than bedwetting.

When I strated bedwetting, I was put back in nappies by my mum and hated it. I felt so embarassed I would try to hide the fact I was wearing a nappy even though my parents know. But now I just get on with it, I even find my self sitting in a wet nappy and eating my breakfast. What ever next :-)

There is no shame in being a bedwetter, I for one have never stopped wetting the bed, Im in my early 60's now.
To manage my bedwetting I wear nappies and plastic pants to bed, done it all my life. I also wear nappies for long car trips(saves on a lot of potty stops)

I to still wett the bed at 30.I started about 22,I wear depend disp in the day and tena maxi at nite,i too felt ashamed it took a year or too to get over.but i gess its just a fact of lifes fun jurnneys.

i was 15 years old before my mother would allow me to put on and take off my bedtime diapers by myself . this ritual did not really bother me much because i was used to my mother doing this since i was a baby. what bothered me more was wash day when my diapers and plastic panties would be on the line drying where everybody in the neighbourhood could see them. this was embarrasing to me especialy when my younger sisters would tell my friends they were my diapers because i wet the bed and sometimes poo in them .

There certainly is no shame or shouldn't be. I too am an adult bedwetter and don't see it as a problem.

i personally see it as a major problem. If i carry on bedwetting any longer ill kill myself thats how i feel. I want to be a normal teen...no care in the world. I want to be able to stay at my friends house without worrying someone will find out, or let a boy stay at my house without him seeing nappies or plastic bedding. THIS ISNT NORMAL. 2-7 is normal. even 7-12 is alright but after that it isnt. PLEASE I NEED ADVICE ON COMPLETELY STOPPING BEDWETTING.

It isn't normal but get a grip there are far worse things.

dony worry about it i still wet most nites im 17 and wear diapers most of my freinds no all about it i dont care any more

hi i have just started to wet the bed but wake up half way through i wear nappies some times cause i likr them but i do it secretly if this wetting continues should i seek medical advise

I am 19, and am still a bedwetter. I find that incontinence pants from SEDAGYL are great as they look just like ordinary Yfronts, and can be washed. I wear them under my pj pants, and no-one knows I have a problem.
