Sheriff's Office investigating murder of DCF employee

Gilberto Perez loves little boys. Maybe it was the father of some kid he molested. Yes, he is a q u e e r.

no license and he frequents bars? sounds like a another model citizen

47 years old, worked for DCF and frequented bars...........Hmmmmmmmm

no drivers license .......thats weird.

what department within DCF did he work? Did he investigate children?
And why mention that he frequented bars and had no DL?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, however, Gil was a sensative fun-loving guy, he never flaunted his lifestyle. So lay off the little boy garbage..Maybe,you,justice, should be looked into for your comment..Gil was a good friend and was brutally murdered by someone he must have trusted.. Gil did not drive (by choice) not a crime or suspicious... otherwise public transportation would not exsist. Unfortunatly DCF has a stigmatism attached,leaving room for all the cynical commentary..not all DCF workers are screw ups..or predators..Gil was a hard worker and was loved by all ...Maybe we should worry about who committed this senseless act of violence against a human being...who was a friend to many, a son,a brother, a PERSON..

Last time I checked everybody of age can go to a bar, teachers,cops,lawyers,

I will be travelling to say goodbye to a childhood friend that I've had for over 40 years. I loved him so much. He would feed you before he'd feed himself. He would give you the shirt off his back. He was a wonderful person and he did not deserve to die this way. No matter what his lifestyle was he never mixed work with pleasure. All he was trying to do was see the world and if you know him like I do, you know he almost did. R.I.P. Gilberto Perez. Your fried for life, Ana.

It is very easy to pass judgement and point fingers onto others, isn't it? I am greateful for Gil and how he helped me in the office. It is very unfortunate that we're focusing on his lifestyle instead of catching the criminal that took his life. Gil was an awsome person, hardworking, and very professional. I have prayed for his soul and will continue to do so. Let him rest in peace and stop the nasty comments.

I will miss you so much you will always be in my heart I love you my sweet cuz.

It's sad to see that people can make such ridiculous comments regarding something so serious. Where is the compassion? People lead different lives and no one has the right to take someones life.

My uncle was a grat guy and FOR SOMEONE TO MAKE STUPID COMMENTS LIKE THIS IS HORRIBLE. People need to be a liitle more respectful. He went out of his way to help people. I hope they catch who ever did this to him. RIP

I'm forwarding this to the Detective Investigating his murder, I think you are the one who did it. Gil was one of my best friends, and I don't appreciate your comment. It also looks suspicious. I won't let this go until my beloved friend, who was care for by many, gets the justice that he deserves.

Nephew, your brother was the kindest person I have known in a long time. I will not rest until they find out who did this, I hope all of his family will do the same. Call that detective every day, Gil deserves justice. Don't stop fighting until he gets it.

gil was a loving man and he did anything to help anyone out so pls stop talking bad about him. He worked very hard to help his community out . he was a loving brother,son, and friend.
