Selling The 'Extreme Makeover' Home in Clayton County, Georgia

How can these people be so STUPID???? They do not deserve any more assistance of any kind!!!
They're pictures need to be in all the dictionaries around the world beside the word stupid!

Not only should these people be barred from ANY FUTURE assistance, whether it be private or public, they should also be forced to sell the home and return the money to the producers of Extreme Makeover so they can help more needy families.

They were given a House, Furniture, Clothes, a car, appliances, electronics, and $100,000.00 and still are facing foreclosure.

And to think the news media is playing up the national foreclosure crsis as evil lenders taking advantage of poor average Joe. It is ignorant people like this that have no business borrowing money of any kind that are the cause of the national foreclosure crsis.

Excuse the hell out of me! But, If you lose your job and you cannot get enough money thru unemployment benefits to pay your mortgage, and your not able to get another job because the economy is in a recession, that does not make you dump or stupid. Unfortunally, minorities looks to be the ones out of a job. So when you say these people, who are you talking about, black people, because there is a great majority of black people losing their homes. I also understand that you never wanted black people to own their homes.

Um, They didn't have mortgage until they went and got one. One that they couldn't afford even with a job. If you feel you are in the same catergory as these folks then you kinda get what you deserve.

what is wrong with you people? People of all races are facing issues. Why is it a color thing. Corporate America has laid off hundreds of thousands of jobs. Are all of them black too? Come on at the end of the day it doesnt matter what color you are if you lose your job and run out of savings before finding another one then you run the risk of losing your home. Come on folks get it together. Its time out for all of this racist crap!

The family in Clayton County should never have taken out a mortgage on a gift like that. It was a slap in the face of the people who gave it to them. As for being a black/ white thing, you are just sad for thinking that. I grew up in the minority in a south GA town - 66% black at the time and I'm white. I was sick of the race card then and it has just become a joke as I've grown older. Now that we have a "black" president, I think it is clear that there are very few race issues in the mass of the nation. Not to say there are not some hang ups here and there, my redneck brother-in-law is proof of that, but in general, give up the ghost and just start taking care of yourself. Quit blaming the guy next door, I'm tired of carrying my load and yours. I don’t owe you anything because my skin is a different color, your parents would tell you to get a job and take care of your responsibilities.
As for being laid off, then find another job. I know your field is not hiring, well, start cleaning toilets and parking cars. Take on a couple of lesser jobs that will make the payments until you can find something that is in your field. Don’t just waller in self pity, no one is going to help you until you help yourself.

I am sooooo tired of the 'race card'. Get over it. No one I know ever owned a slave. We didn't have anything to do with slavery. We all need to learn to get along. I just wish that everyoone would learn to KEEP THEIR PANTS PULLED UP AROUND THEIR MIDDLE, NOT HANGONG OFF THEIR BUTT!!!!!!!!.

I live very near Lake City, GA,and THAT house should NEVER have been built in that neighborhood. There ARE no "nice" neighborhoods in Lake City. It is a tiny burg buried amidst Forest Park and Ellenwood, right smack in the middle of Clayton County with its now-defunct school system. Whomever took out such a mortgage is a dumba** of the first degree and has no business owning a home.
