beartown road past rio grande reservoir

can anyone tell me if the beartown road is in good enough shape to pull a horse trailer to beartown? thanks for any info.

Not only NO but HELL NO!!!
There is a little area called "Timber Hill" about half the way up that will stop anything but a very solid 4x4. I go to Beartown via Stony Pass just to avoid Timber Hill because it is so rough however I wouldn't take a trailer over Stony Pass either. Just ride your horse to Beartown and save the wear and tear on your rig!
