Again me and my wife are contemplating buying some sort of business in the lake city area.Just wondering how the cost of gas has affected the tourism there. We do visit lake city every year and can never really get a straight answer as to the amount of businesses that are for sale.

Gary - They are all for sale! You need to know L.C. is not interested in tourist business any longer. Most resorts in the area have been broken up and sold as private property. How can there be tourist with no place to stay! In L.C. the RICH RULE!!! If you want to have a business there, you might start thinking of a "service type business". What do the rich want or need? You might consider starting a maid service or maybe a private security service.
I lived there for over thirty years until two years ago and I was fortunate to be there for the last of the GOOD ol DAYS in L.C. You also need to know the wealthy there do not like the "working class" so do not expect warm fuzzies for your efforts there! Good Luck!

the guy that left two years ago is pretty much right the good ole days of lake city are gone there aint but about a hand full of warm gretting folks left there.most of them have sold their business.the state killed lake city when they change the hunting laws.It makes me sick to remember how much fun it used to be during hunting season. the hunters ball was great.now I only go throug there to see my old friend steve, and for the beautiful drive.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Pisces

If you-know-who has been getting on your nerves recently, matters will soon come to a head and force you to take drastic action. As Mars turns tail in your sixth house, you might finally lose your rag with someone at work who's been testing your patience to the limit. Stand your ground if you feel you're being messed about in some way. Clear the air if needs be, but don't create a really nasty atmosphere by throwing an eye-popping tantrum. Take care of any infections.
