It will be interesting to see how successful this effort will be. When the cut to athletic programs was proposed, the public stood right up and responded. Now the cut in an academic area is proposed. The difference or equal response will say much about our society.

Again, when money gets tight, they cut the things that are actually used by the public. This allows them to posture and say that every dollar is so vital so don't cut any.

Has one high paid administrator on Miller Street been let go? With the salaries and benefits that they earn, it wouldn't take many of them to make up much of this deficit.

Here, here; I'm all for the LIBRARIES!!
I think that every household should donate their televisions to the fundraisor drive and, in turn, receive a Library Card... Teach ALL HOW TO READ!
STOP WATCHING T.V., or you'll end up like "Homer Simpson," or "Al Bundy!" Also, I think that those individuals and Families who are collecting Welfare, should not receive Welfare--if they own a television!

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Gemini

You need to push away the negativity others put on you - often they're just jealous. Put your ideas on the table and don't be afraid to ask for help to accomplish your goals. This is not the time to question your intuitive feelings: trust your hunches and make things happen. Do not be afraid of change. Welcome it into your life.
