This is a much needed facility for distressed marine life on south bay beaches! Hopefully it can be funded and built real soon. I would love to volunteer my time assisting when the facility is built.

Why not build it in conjunction with the proposed $40M Annenberg Animal Center at lower Pt Vicente or include it with the proposed new RPV City Hall project at upper Pt Vicente? There is plenty of room at both locations.

There is plenty of room at both locations. My guess is that they want it closer to sea level so they have access to the salt water. It also makes it easier to release the rehabilitated marine life.
