This is a much needed facility for distressed marine life on south bay beaches! Hopefully it can be funded and built real soon. I would love to volunteer my time assisting when the facility is built.

Why not build it in conjunction with the proposed $40M Annenberg Animal Center at lower Pt Vicente or include it with the proposed new RPV City Hall project at upper Pt Vicente? There is plenty of room at both locations.

My guess is that they want it closer to sea level so they have access to the salt water. It also makes it easier to release the rehabilitated marine life.

How about a big water slide down to the water? The seals would love it...

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Libra

Look after yourself today, dear Libra, because you don't have as much energy and self-confidence as usual. In fact, your spirits may be trailing around your ankles, making you feel wretched and listless. A pessimistic mood certainly won't help you cheer up, and you may be feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities or other people's problems. The fact is that you've got things out of proportion, but you'll feel better about them soon.
