Maybe he could paint a better Mural than the one they did in Miller's Ville. That one is UGLY. Every time I drive by that mural, I think I am in Tijuana. Anything would have been better than that so-called painting. It's definitely not art.

Well let's see...and I may be missing something here but WHY IS HE DRIVING?!!! I DON'T GIVE A HORSE PATOOTY WHO HE IS HE IS A DANGER TO HIMSELF AND DEFINITELY TO OTHERS WHO HAVE MADE A DECISION NOT TO DRINK AND DRIVE. Here we have a well educated man who because of whatever his personal reasons are decides to drink and drive!!! I don't understand nor can I tolerate a drunk!!! I have heard many elders say "A drunk ain't s**t" and they are so right. It amazes me also how the courts slap these people on the hand on the VERY FIRST OFFENSE....having to go to classes that by the way in CA you have to have the instructor sign a piece of paper and when the sheet if full (I believe it is a week's worth of classes) you turn it in to receive a blank one; the problem with this is ANYONE can sign it and the drunk who is smart enough to get dumb family members to do it gets away with it. On the very first offense in my opinion it should be considered attempted murder because your vehicle is a weapon and you have chosen to get behind the wheel and operate it which causes you to aim and hit someone that wasn't a part of your IGNORANT BEHAVIOR!!!! I say this doctor and everyone else should not just have their license yanked....uhhhhh that is certainly a way they will not drive....put their dumb A double SS in jail for 1 to 2 years before they kill someone or themselves and if they repeat it is more time and if you ask me they can do life because they potentially will be taking a life!!!!

I saw the mural today. Not only is it loud and garish, but the Virgin is higher than the US Flag, which in my mind is a dis to the flag. I know it was unintentional, but this seems to me to be a good argument for design review of public murals. Apparently, there is no controls on where or what goes up on a wall, as long it is in good taste. By what standards?
