Cinepolis Is To Expensive !!

The price of food was too expensive for what we got the only good thing this time 2nd and last time is that the theater was empty.

We decided to give the venue a second chance since the first time we went the venue had just opened their doors. The first time the service was horrible, the servers blocked the movie screen while they scrambled to deliver food. Our order came out 45 minutes into the movie.

The seats are comfortable the food was o.k., not worth the price we paid but this time the server got our meals to us in a reasonable amount of time. The tier pricing is ridiculous! It depends on what time you want to see a movie.

I don’t mind driving to the Regency of the Edwards, my company offers movie discounts to Edwards so it’s worth it for me to drive there and save 15 bucks. If you are a member of Costco they also sell discounted movie tickets to Edwards, AMC and others.

One other thing, I posted my first experience of the theater on yelp and it has been completely removed? All of the negative reviews are gone. The only review is a positive way over the top review.

We will see how long this venue will last.

I totally agree with you that it is expensive. Just because we live in upscale area does not mean we like to throw our money away. If Cinepolis is ever taken over with a theater that charges a reasonable fee I will be a customer.

It's a sad thing to see change in the area bringing more expensense for the locals here. I cannot see myself paying the exorbitant prices the Cinepolis chain requires to see a movie.

The dry cleaners in the same center is now charging an expensive fee called a environmental fee. Did the owners change hands?

They're getting ready to open a Cinepolis here in my area (Rancho Santa Margarita). I too wonder how many people will actually go given the costs.

So is the Ocean Ranch cleaners. My post have been removed regarding the extra fee they are charging for what I do not know! It is a percentage of the total bill. I stopped using the cleaners when I noticed the fee. What upsets me is that I have been a customer of that business and was not told of the new added on fee.

What is becoming of our local shops?

I understand it's expensive, but it's well worth it. I go about once a month to treat myself but the everyday movies I go to regal. The food menu changed from the time the Ocean Ranch opened to now, I'm not a fan, however the Popcorn and Sweet Potatoe fries are good. I would stick to cocktails and red vines. I bring a blanket and me and hubby cuddle.. It's my favorite one and can't wait for the RSM one to open.

That's why this theatre is so great - the mass hordes find it too expensive and choose to fight the crowds for tickets and armrests elsewhere.

I'd pay double to experience the incredibly comfortable reclining leather seats and sip a glass of wine while watching a new release.

Not worth it to waste 2-3 hours on a bad experience in cramped seats and stale popcorn, so pay a little extra to avoid the throngs that would rather save $5.

If it wasn't too expensive for some, it wouldn't work.
