The rates are the same almost across almost all the nation now with the Medicare fee Schedule that was put in place to equalize charges. Since Medicare pays 65-70% of all transports, they hold most of the cards. They will tell you how much you can charge and receive reimbursement from them and if you don't set the charges at that rate then idiots like the dispectful posters on here will have to pay a much higher property tax rate to offset the cost. Then again, I wonder if they even pay a tax at all. Probably freeloaders from the way they disrespectfully post rants and ramblings. Most all commercial insurances closely follow Medicare rules within 5 years of federal law implementation. Now if you only want to come on here and bitch about the cost, you must not have needed an ambulance very much.
You don't like the way we do things in the south, put your nappy ass on a bus and head north. Personal attacks like the ones on here are much of the real reason you won't get anywhere. i would like to know, why i get passed by a macon co ambulance with lights and sirens.just to find them at a grocery store in westmoreland shopping. must have been real hungry to be breaking the law. then when you call and ask why me my wife and three kids were forced off the road for a ham sandwhich i get no answer. like its normal to use lights and siren for no reason.

Are you sure it was the same ambulance there is more than one you know. Or just maybe there was someone in the store that need medical help. I'll bet you did not even stop and go in did you?

same id number and yes i did go in and confront the lady.she had nothing to say.got passed at the city limits of westmoreland and was on my way to get my check at the store.
