meyers plays defense... has no affect on mair..but i agree that the surprise performance of mcarthur pushed mair out of the picture. Kennedy has been playing as well alsol

if they send him to Portland..then they have to bump a player off that roster ....

its funny that they subjected Mair to waivers when they had guys like Max or Andrew Peters on the roster for a couple of seasons...

MAX was a fast skater & handeled the puck , but just could not shoot it . When he tried the opponent got it. PETERS was a penalty getter . That is no good . He sat in the box more than he skated.

The Red wings picked up Drew Miller..average player that has been passed around three teams off of waivers from Tampa Bay. So I guess the Red Wings passed on Mair for this guy? Something wrong with this picture? Mair isn't expensive..only 750K vs. the cap.

Drew Miller is the brother of Ryan Miller who first played for the Anaheim Ducks..then for the Tampa Bay Lightning who just put him on waivers and now Detroit has him....nothing special other than he's related to the Sabres goaltender.
