I have known Robert since he was 3 years old, and I have never known him to be anything but a nice boy. He has always received good grades in school, and has never been in trouble before this. He did not want the life of a gang banger. When the group started doing things Robert did not like, he wanted out. None of the boys that were there for the jumping out had weapons. It was the jerks who heard about the jumping out and showed up that had the guns. I pray the jury sees through the DA's unjust dealings with these young men.
