A quote from Mr. Sandoval " I don't believe in vendettas. I am on a peace mission. I don't have ill thoughts toward anybody". You could have fooled me. The 'MAS' campaign came off as an assault on Solano and Fuentes. You could definitely tell it was personal.

“Because he will vote on issues that would affect his livelihood, Sandoval plans to resign from his teaching job, he said.”
That’s commendable but it is state law that he CAN NOT serve on the School Board and work for the same school district. It is the Law that REQUIRES Sandoval to resign.
He must really believe in his cause, to resign from a job that pays him more in one day then he will make in the entire month as a Board Member. Hmmm…Or maybe he believes all the lies that were told to the community about all those big fat raises Paul Solano and Bob Fuentes voted to give themselves!
When Art Sandoval signed up to run for the School Board he had lost his job to budget cuts, but like many school districts as the year went on and openings are found some teachers got rehired. During the campaign Art Sandoval was rehired. I hope he keeps his promise to our community and the tax payers and steps up to the plate as a Board Member serves his term and doesn’t quit because something better came along.

He will find employments elsewhere you moron!!! It is commendable to leave your current employemnt with the economic climate the way that it is. But I am sure he will find employment. In fact he has an interview already scheduled in HLP. I wonder how they can afford to still be hiring teachers.

WOW what is with all the name calling! I have never seen so many insults thrown out at people. MORON, IDOIT, LITTLE ASIAN, OLD CRUSTY... JUST TO NAME A FEW. My comment is factual. It is the law that requires him to resign from one or the other.
Also there was an automated voice call sent to the voters of Bassett, one of the false claims was Paul Solano and Bob Fuentes voting to raise their stipends some ridiculous amount! But go ahead be proud of the campaign surrounding MAS; it was full of LIES, EXAGERATIONS, SLANDER AND HALF TRUTHS.

I can't believe how many "haters" we have. Why can't you just be proud, because for once we finally have people on the board that will hold people accoutable and board members that are educated (I know, some are) and care about students. For once, we will have board members that will use their brain in making decisions that will benefit students and not others. For once we will have board members that will give directives to the sup. and not the other way around. The voters of Bassett got it right and stop whinning you sound like a 1 year old. It's idiots and morons like yourslef that have the district in Program Improvement, but you probably would not know what that means, so do me a favor and GO AWAY!

Wow again! You need a serious dose of anger management! Well after MAS cures all of Bassett they can go fix the 45 % of schools in California in program improvement. You people have serious ego problems. Do the world a favor and get treatment!

Victoria Medina, Taiwan Alvarado, Art Sandoval, and I had nothing to to with an automated voice call. I just heard about it a few days ago but I want to reasure you that we did not make those calls. If I recall correctly you were pretty upset when I passed judgement on your crew over the missing signs signs but here you are doing the same thing. At least I applogized for my wrong-doing. I think you have to take my word that we had nothing to do with these calls.

Next time call me before you make such allegations--if you work for Basseett ask--someone will have my number.

Congrats Mr. Sandoval and Mrs. Medina on your win! I'm so super proud of both of you! You will do a great job....I am 100% sure! Some people are forgetting the real reason why you both ran which was and is to IMPROVE Bassett schools. I'm happy that you will both get the opportunity to do just that! Keep up the good work!:)

What are you talking about I passed judgment on you? I do not even know you except for your comments here and I am guessing you are Beto Alvarado You Tube commentator. The You Tube video that MAS denies having anything to do with. Also my guess is you are a brother of one of the candidates. I never said MAS sent the automated voice call. Like the You Tube Video no one can be held accountable because there is no name to attach to either. But let’s look at a little fact. There were 10 candidates and of those 10, the campaign surrounding MAS was very negative.

It seems like you think you know me but I assure you we have never met. I will not use my name I have seen the insults other employees have suffered from people in this group and I do not want my job to be affected because I have concerns with how MAS got elected.

If you do not know me then let me explain that I would be more than happy to accept responsibilty and take credit for anything I did or have done. I think you can agree that I have been the only one that has continued to use my real name on every post--yeas i am beto3alvarado. I really want everyone to know that the candidates nor I, nor our core group created the youtube video. In fact, even though data was accurate, the language and tone was not taken lightly by many of us.

Can you please be specific as to the exagerations you claim? Much research went into anything we published and/or endorsed--we did not endorse the youtube video--let me be clear about this; and, no one in our group made any automated calls.

Hope to get real answers from you soon. Maybe we can meet and have a real face to face, insightful discussion. I think you passion might or should be used to help all in Bassett. I truely only want Bassett schools to be successful. If you knew what I did for my students in the past you would be able to see that all my passion is directed at student success.

Roberto, I do not know much about you but if your last sentiment is true then I feel we may have some common ground. I still feel very bad about so many needless ugly statements that had been made about good people in our district, people I believe care about our students too. Bassett is a small community and I know for a fact that one of the candidates and her husband said things verbally to people while campaigning that were not factual. This information came from mutable trusted sources.

Passion is a wonderful thing, but without regard to SOME realities it can hurt the community you are trying to help.

I try hard to remember only God truly knows the heart of men. I am praying for Bassett and Bassett’s Leadership.

Again, maybe we can meet so that I may clarify some things. There are many lies being circulated about Bassett and our core group. Also, there are many things that simply do not add up and all we want are answers--however, we are and were shooed away. I think that if we sit and talk we will see that we all want what is best for our students--even though I do not work there anymore.

If you are intrested in meeting, I will be at the next board meeting. Maybe we can schedule a meeting there.
