Did Colonial House of Sandwiches close or did they just move across the street by the Donut Shop?

Good chicken sandwiches - an understatement, they are AWESOME
I also like Kings BBQ Chicken it should say AWESOME right next to it on the menu. I am getting hungry again just thinking about it. Main 101 is too pricey for my palate.
If you get time head on over to Katz' Deli on Westheimer for the NY Reuben Sandwich, OMG- it will give you aheart attack just looking at it.
Happy eats to everybody!!!!!!

So I am going to try the Kings BBQ chicken. You are a great spokesman for them. That is one thing I love and have never been able to copy from my father. I know that Kings does the catering for First Baptist Church and also they give back to the community.
Thanks for your opinion, again. Some of us don't spend our money on eating out unless we know it is good.

Both places are great. So is Hoppies. Little holes in the walls with great food. Now I'm going to have to go tonight just thinking about it...but which one?

I'm choosing BBQ chicken from Kings. I like Hoppies, also. I don't know if it is because of the food or that the owner has a pony tail. Reminds me of the 60's.

We live much closer to Kings. My DH brought home ribeyes and baked potatoes last week for dinner and oh-my-God they were delicious. The new owners have certainly outdone the previous owners. Everything we've had from there has been delicious.

Have you seen the BBQ place on Underwood on the right as you head to 146? It's a little hole in the wall too, but in a new building. It's by that little closed down convenience center complex. They have the most delicious grilled chicken salad.

I'm going to have to try Colonial sandwiches. Does anyone know if they only serve lunch or do they have extended hours at the new place?
