The gay activists proclaimed that no federal action was necessary on marriage -- that it was a state issue that the states could decide.
As it turns out, the unspoken rider to that statement is that the states should be allowed to decide the marriage issue -- provided that the states decide it the way the gay activists want it decided. The first time the state's due process of law goes against them, they go running to the federal government to use judicial fiat to overturn the laws of the state of California. If judicial fiat to overturn California's laws on marriage is acceptable, why wasn't a federal amendment to trump state marriage laws acceptable? When the activists said it was a state issue, I knew that they were lying, and that it was simply a political ploy to force their agenda on everyone. Gay activists hollering for "peace and justice" are no different from other politicians. They are liars and crooks, and cannot tell the truth. Raleigh |
