5 years later, Scott Peterson passes the time in San Quentin

Jeni's probably one of those people that writes to Peterson to try to get with him in prison because she thinks he's cute. Cute guys apparently don't murder their wives and unborn babies.

Truely - I went through the ordeal to read all 43 statements in the S.P.-case. The one thing I want to say first: such an amount of trailor-trash talk, filled with mistakes and errors of various kinds is an ashaming statement in itself. If even the first man of your country is a liar, why do you take Scott´s sweet-little lies to Amber so seriously? I go with the facts and that facts, as presented by the state, are DEFINITELY not enough to send him (or anyone or that matter) to death-row. At least not BEYOND ANY REASONABLE doubt. People like you - with just 2-3 exceptions among you 43 hypocrits - are exactly those to be jurors in cases like this. That is enough reason to be afraid. People like you do not built a case based on own thoughts - you, instead, let FOX-News and the tabloids twist the facts for you. It is known (!) that sme 20% of death-row inmates are innocent. That alone is enough reason against the death penalty. You think Scott is guilty. He might - he might not, but one thing is certain for me. People like you, bystanders of the cheap kind, are at least as guilty as he is. For crimes against humanity. For the crime of applauding when fresh, red blood is running. From your couch-potatoe point of view, the world might be nothing but just black and white (more white than black, though). In fact there is so much more to it, things you can´t see in your rage and call for blood!

to jue busch- you have it right all his lies to amber were meaningless like i said earlier they were just intended to keep her around for the sex- he was telling her what she wanted to hear- thats he was single its not that hard to figure out. the facts of the case- it seems impossible to leave zero evidence- ZERO. no physical or forensic evidence in any location. plus- ZERO history of any sort of violence at all. the jury was just like everyone else hear= the media and the prosecution made you all hate scott- and maybe you should but in no way is that evidence. and that was basically their entire case. it had to be the most unfair trial ever esp when gloria allred spent every day in front of the microphones fanning the fire more- and for personal gain. think about it

The guy was going to Mexico with a bag of money, bleached hair, and his brother's ID. But I'm sure everyone does that once in a while when they're innocent.

Scott purchased a boat and went fishing christmas eve with a pregnant wife at home.

I don't know too many guys that can get away with that on CE unless they were planning on rubbing their wife out and fast.

I would have let my husband go fishing on Christmas Eve; not a big deal even if I was pregnant so don't know what the fuss is about there unless most men are afraid of their wives and most wives have to control men because they took their biatch pill today.

One lie was when he told Amber he was in Paris celebrating the New Year when he really was in Modesto looking for his wife.

yes he lied to amber because he was just keeping her around for the sex thats wehy he told her it was first christmas without wife etc what i meant was i dont believe he ever lied to police never got caught in a lie as far as i know plus with thos 100s of conversations with amber he never once slipped and even came close to incriminating himself that would be really hard to do esp when she was trying to trick him into saying something

I don't believe that alot of leads were not checked. It is my thought that Scott is 100% guilty. It is not just based on his affair. He started an affair (not the 1st) bought a boat, made anchors, told amber this would be his 1st holidays w/o his wife, continued his conversations with Amber with his pregnant wife missing, inquired about selling home, sold his wife's SUV (which was given back to her mother for I believe a dollar), had umbrellas in the back of his truck which he forgot to take out of the truck at the storage facility that they believe he used to conceal the body in the back of the truck, stated his wife knew of the affair because he told her because it was the right thing to do, went fishing the day she went missing, bodies washed up in the same body of water. If you read the transcripts the prosecution is very right everything comes together like a puzzle. I will never believe that a man could ever have that many coincidences or bad luck. The Peterson Family I think discounts the relationship he was having with Amber of course they would like you to believe it was this affair. For God's Sake he was sitting like a jackass with a Santa Hat on at Christmas time while Laci was attending their friends party. It's not just the affair for me. After reading I would put my life on the fact they have the right man unfortunately his family will spend their hard earned money and the rest of their life trying to defend and set free this selfish piece of crap. It's hard to understand and thankfully it hard for us to understand how a man could be that selfish. JUSTICE WAS SERVED! By the way in just for the record I don't think this man is that attractive he walks sissyfied and he called himself "PUDGE BOY" he was right. Looks short, arrogant, out of shape and shady. Now Laci was beautiful, articulate, loving, caring and a great friend. I don't think he had many friends I think they were LACI'S FRIENDS.

I followed the trial and agree with the jury. I also believe in the death penalty. I have read the book "For Laci" written by Laci's mom and "Blood Brother" written by Scott's step-sister. If I wasn't sure before, I am now. He did it. The only thing he's sorry for is getting caught. Laci was a beautful person and her son never had the chance to be held and loved. Murder was not the only option. Scott had choices, he made the wrong one and now has to pay the consequences.

you read a book by laci's mom and that convinced you? what would expect her to say? yes laci it seems was a very nice person- and so was scott peterson before all this happened. yes he had affair- but there was no other credible evidence to prove anything- oh wait the bodies washed up where he truthfully told police he was that day (like all killers put themselves at the scene? so explain why they couldnt find any bodies-or anchors- in the water with all the most modern technology in the world. maybe because they werent there. also kinda curious how they just happened to wash up on shore together too isnt it?

Jeni, you may want to do your homework before you make these types of statements. Just because he was granted an appeal doesn't mean he is innocent. Death penalty cases automatically get an appeal. Have you ever heard the saying: If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it must be a duck? After reading much information, to include that of Scott Peterson's own sister, I truly believe he is guilty. The only people who know for sure are Scott, Laci and of course the Lord our God. If he did it, he will suffer the ultimate consequence some day.

Can't you just admit he's a slimeball? He didn't want to be tied down to a wife or a kid. Instead of divorce, he chose another way out and now he must pay for that choice.

You need to watch more Court TV/Tru TV - shows such as Forensic Files, The First 48, Investigations. If you do, you will get your answers. Face it, a jury of his peers convicted him of murder and sentenced him to death. The evidence presented to him must have been beyond a reasonable doubt.
