White Hen Turns Green & Red Effort to rebrand to 7-Eleven in full swing in Illinois

Hope 7-11 keeps the stores as clean as White Hen did. There was a distinct difference in most stores around here, Cook-DuPage.

7-11 has always been dirty, dingy and run down, while WHITE HEN has always been clean, upscale and delivering great lunch meat and coffee.

I cannot believe that 7-11 bought out WH. It is a sad day indeed.

APU has won. So have the Taliban.

Already missing white hen

I despise chains that make themselves look even corporate than they already are. I much prefer the laid back style of White Hen.

Yeah, now we'll be reduced to the eternally rolling pieces of meat that are called "food" in the 7-11's, rather than the good, hot, fresh-to-order sandwiches made at my local White Hen. Booooo....changeover!

7-Eleven bought White Hen to "Dominate" the Chicago Market. However, Chicago still prefers a FRESH made to order sandwich over a hot dog. I am sure they are seeing same store sales plummeting city wide. They are lucky that they (7 Eleven) have over 32,000 stores world wide and can financially absorb a BAD business decision...
