Police. Ambulance called to RB High School

Driving home last night, I saw no LESS than 5 squad cars and one ambulance speeding over the RBHS. I saw a group of kids gathered on the front lawn, but was going in the opposite direction so I couldn't tell what the deal was. Does anyone know?

Also, I've seen squad cars, fire trucks and ambulances speed over to the Junior High and Elementary school, with NO information about that either.

As a concerned parent, I feel like we're not being given all of the information we should be getting, whether it's on the Landmark or Suburban Life web pages, or ANYWHERE on the Riverside web site.

What is with the 1984 like censorship of information? Don't we deserve to know what is going on in our schools?

Chances are it was an activated fire alarm at RBHS. The "Squad cars" that you saw, were probably the Fire Chiefs cars as they are unmarked sedans. Also, a fire alarm at the high school requires, that Riverside Police Officers block Ridgewood to allow for FD access and smooth evacuation. The same is true for most grade schools.

No, these were marked squad cars. Sort of overkill, don't you think, if it's just a false alarm.

I don't like the sneakiness of the town lately.
