So, the question is simple and so are the rules. No one can seem to produce a "God", so whatever "THEIR God" says is totally irrelevant to reality.

So: No God = No religion. Doesn't matter WHAT your "God" says....religion is OFF the table.

Can't claim it's unnatural because there are a myriad of examples of homosexuality in the animal kingdom...So, "It's unnatural is OFF the table:

It's pretty well known that there is homosexuality in plenty of the other animals. Black swans, for instance, will bond for life. A homosexual "couple" of black swans will actually steal eggs of other black swans, hatch them and raise the offspring as their own.

So, whatcha got? Can't claim unnatural...no religion allowed.

I was never really interested in the homosexual situation until I realized that without religion...most people cannot give a reason to be against it.

So, whatcha got? ONE reason Homosexuality is wrong?

We are in the bible belt and the bible is still the best selling book last time I checked. So, the bible is very much imbedded in my culture and belief system. However, I seldom find anyone that I agree on everything with according to my own interpretations of scriptures. Something distinctly comes to mind as I read the start of this thread about homosexuality in animals and that is there is scripture stating that God gave human beings attributes that he did not give animals and that was a sense of shame and I believe a sense of pride. If we did not have that we might mate in the middle of the road like animals do as well. We also have a conscience, and if we feel that we need to constantly defend our actions that it could be our conscience telling us something is wrong. I worry that extreme religious beliefs in this area may have caused folk to seek guidance in wrong places. A relationship with God does not have to be extreme, but can be very quiet and personal. The bible is an incredible book that I invite anyone to read with an open mind. And an open heart. I honestly do not have a view on homosexuality, I believe God will handle that the way he sees fit. I do believe it takes a very intelligent person to truly believe in God, as it requires a very high level of abstract thinking ability to even comprehend the concept, and I am not referring to believing the fire and brimestone lessons we have been taught all our lives, but to have the individual concept and relationship with him.

In the case of homosexuals, they are not trying to defend their actions any more than women were fighting for education and the rights to work, vote, etc. Same for the blacks.

I am bisexual. I think we are born that way. Some control freak eventually tells us what is 'wrong' or 'right' and guilts us one way or the other. It is not about the sex. It is about loving. I understand it being wrong to love some things. But being truly faithful to any person, man or woman, is precious in this world. And who are these people who believe in God, to point their fingers when they, themselves love the wrong things (like Violence) for instance? Being violent or judgemental to a gay person is still wrong no mature how you look at it. Wash your hands and don't point fingers. That is God's job. Also, he says Love Thy Neighbor. Well I love men and women both and I don't want to have sex with both genders, does that make me a freak? There are some people out there that have sex with dead people. Where they made that way. There are adults out there that love little children so much that they sexually molest them. Scarring them for life. Is this the love you are talking about. Were they born that way? You just hit it in your last statment. If you are saved by God's grace you will not want to be bisexual transgender, adulter, killer, gossiper coveter ( I can't spell very well but God knows what I am trying to say.)If you are a saved person (child of God ) you won't practice sin. If you do sin you know it right then and ask for repentance. It is when you stop asking God for forgiveness is when you get into trouble. Your heart will become hardned and In the Bible it says it is better to have never known him and turn your back upon him. You can not know God until you are saved, born again, accept Christ as your Personal Savior. There is no where in the word of God where we are not to pray for, love and live a life where unbelivers can be brought to Jesus. Thank you for listening to me even though I am not a perfect speller. You do bring up a valid point, not a new point, but a valid one: I don't see homosexuality, bisexuality as a "moral" issue, BUT psychology and the judicial system BOTH realize that child molesters really cannot be "Fixed". Means they are either permanently damaged after birth or they were born that way. Personally, I think there is more than enough evidence to show that they we born that way...at least in many cases...so that is going to lead to one heck of a quagmire.

The problem is that no one can seem to produce a "God". Just can't do it for some reason. You cannot claim an "offense" against a "God" that you cannot produce. No "God" = No "offense" = No "Sin". "Sin" is nothing more than a made-up term for made-up "offenses" against a made-up "God". So, christian claims of ANY "sin" is just made-up non-sense...as are the "definitions" of those "sins". It's all non-sense.
